Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 1, 2005 Sadly, Candido's tenure in WCW in 2000 didn't leave too many memorable matches. Honestly I was a little disappointed with his run because he was brought in as a cruiserweight headliner, but didn't really wrestle like one. "Hard Knox" Chris Candido, his gimmick was that he claimed he was some legendary veteran and had pinned every single wrestler in the business at some point or another. Great times. Wicked nice guy, talked to me for about 10 minutes just about this and that. I've got a picture with him somewhere from that night. Guest jm29195 Report post Posted May 1, 2005 I can't remember clearly but didn't they form a wcw version of the triple threat with Douglas/Bigelow/Candido just before Candido was fired? 05-07-00 - WCW Slamboree 2000 - Chris Candido pinned The Artist after a top-rope headbutt. This match was shockingly bad, Artist blew all of his spots and the ref fucked up the finish, so Candido carried on after the bell was rung and hit the headbutt for a second three count.... That was also the night that Goldberg's monster truck crushed Rick Steiner's car, Vampiro (whom I met) stole Sting's crow, and Buff Bagwell was arrested after the show, which I witnessed.
