-- The Internet Movie Database has recently added a page for WWE’s ECW One Night Stand PPV. On the page, it lists the “cast” for the event. On that list, is Joey Styles. After years of negative comments about WWE, they may have offered him enough money to take part in their ECW PPV. If Joey Styles is in fact a part of WWE’s ECW PPV, it is assumed that he will still take part in Shane Douglas’ Hardcore Homecoming as well.

-- The following is the full list of wrestlers listed by the Internet Movie Database: Tony Mamluke, Bill Alfonso, Mike Awesome, C.W. Anderson, Chris Benoit, Sabu, Nova/Simon Dean, Cyrus, Psycosis, Johnny Swinger, Miss Congeniality/Lita, Sandman, Funaki, Terry Funk, Rhino, Big Sal, Eddie Guerrero, Beulah McGillicutty, D-Von Dudley, Spike Dudley Super Crazy, Jason, Axl Rotten, Tommy Dreamer, Bubba Ray Dudley, Dean Malenko, Steven Richards, Jazz, Danny Doring, Dawn Marie, Tazz, Tracy Smothers, Al Snow, Joey Matthews, Little Guido/Nnzio, Lance Storm, Tajiri, Masato Tanaka, Rob Van Dam, and Justin Credible.

Something strange here, Raven had left the WWE on good terms and in fact he never really been that negative about WWE at any time. You'd think he would accept the invite to come to the ECW PPV just to mess with Tommy Dreamer, Since Beulah is there for some reason.

IMDB is a notoriously bad source for info about wrestling. Remember when they had written that Stephanie McMahon was married to Howard Finkel?

i had my doubts and still do to an extent but if this is true, it has alot of potential to be awesome

"Dear Rhyno,

How's the marriage going? Sorry about the whole firing you thing. Anyway, look forward to seeing you at One Night Stand. Don't forget to bring the belts.

Vince."

Yeah, I'm guessing this isn't a confirmed list of people on the show and just a 'hey, these are ECW people who might appear'. Becuase there's at least 10 names that make no sense at all.

Raven mentioned in the latest Powerslam interview, that he has been offered a spot by Dreamer and would like to do it, but it's up to the tna managment...

Damn Jarretts... they hardly fucking use the guy in any meaningful angles, and then when he's offered a 1 night appearence on a PPV that's not even going to be promoted on WWE TV (outside of 20 second commercials), they have to get their panties in a bunch.

no chance.

If TNA doesn't let him do it...

I don't know.

Looking at that "list". there's alot of potential there but i find it funny "the list" includes many fired workers and yet doesnt include Mick Foley; whom actually already confirmed he'd do the show and has dicussed all his possibities with Vince and CO. already.

This does look like a load of B.S. I know that Jazz mentioned last week in an interview that she wasn't contacted for any of the ECW shows. Danny Doring also recently said that he wasn't confirmed for the WWE show.

With very little promotion, How exactlly is this PPV gonna work? Are they gonna announce what Matches they're gonna have before the event? are they gonna just randomly come out match by match, what is the format of the intire PPV exactlly.

When did Funaki ever work for ECW?

I think several members of Kaientai worked a PPV or two in ECW, but I don't recall Funaki being one of them.

Funaki worked for ECW several times first with Kaientai before they joined the WWF, then kaientai returned to the ECW when the WWF used the promotion as a under the table farm fed and training area for those wrestlers not currently active on the WWF roster.

Cyberslam 98 I think had the Kaientai in a 6man tag with three other japanese wrestlers one being Gran Hamada, Sasuke may have been there too but I don't have my records with me at the moment.

You aren't even close to right on anything.

Funaki never worked for ECW.

The Japanese wrestlers who worked for ECW were from the Michinoku Pro group in Japan, three of whom made up part of the Kaientai DX group there, which had nothing officially to do with the later WWF version, even though it had the same members with the Kaientai name not even being the first name the group had.

Gran Hamada never wrestled at Cyberslam '98, and there was no Japanese six-man on the card. There weren't even any Japanese wrestlers on the card.

The MPW six-mans that were in ECW were Sasuke/Hamada/Naniwa v Michinoku/Togo/Teioh, and Sasuke/Hamada/Yakushiji v Michinoku/Togo/Teioh, the first being at a taping in February of 1997, and the second being at Barely Legal.

They should let him do it, but he should show up with balloons and cookies for the other workers.

Your right. See what happens when I stop watching my tapes or be near my records. Funaki didn't go to ECW TAKA did.

But unrelated Taka and Funaki did Perform in FMW

IMDB is the same website that said Stephanie McMahon and Howard Finkel were married and had three children.

And Trivia247, isn't 911 dead?
