Richard Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7749977/ And we take one more step back into the fifties
The Czech Republic Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Oh no, people who are more likely to be HIV positive being prevented from donating sperm? What's next, putting Arabs under higher scrutiny at the airport? Hand me my leather jacket and grease my hair, 50s here we come!
2GOLD Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Christ, just make it you have to submit to an HIV test before donating blood or sperm. Is it REALLY that hard? Man, talk about making something simple into something difficult.
The Czech Republic Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Christ, just make it you have to submit to an HIV test before donating blood or sperm. Is it REALLY that hard? Man, talk about making something simple into something difficult. Winner!
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7749977/ And we take one more step back into the fifties And what's so bad about that, commie? Unless of course, you're black...
Guest Wildbomb 4:20 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I could say something truly offensive, but...I lack the energy. See? Communism makes you lazy. --Ryan ...liberal hippie-commie bastard since 1985...
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I could say something truly offensive, but...I lack the energy. More like you lack the balls...
Ripper Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 If they don't check donated semen for HIV or other diseases already, then I think we have a bigger problem than gays donating.
Slayer Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 If they don't check donated semen for HIV or other diseases already, then I think we have a bigger problem than gays donating. My winner
Sideburnious Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 If they don't check donated semen for HIV or other diseases already, then I think we have a bigger problem than gays donating. My winner Yeah thats what I was about to say. I'm pretty sure they all ready check for AIDS and other STI's when you give blood, well in other countries they do. I'd be shocked if they don't in America.
CanadianGuitarist Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I could say something truly offensive, but...I lack the energy. More like you lack the balls... In a topic about sperm donation? That's kind of ironic.
Guest Cerebus Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I know for a fact they do with blood, I don't see why its different with semen.
Art Sandusky Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Oh no, people who are more likely to be HIV positive being prevented from donating sperm? What's next, putting Arabs under higher scrutiny at the airport? Hand me my leather jacket and grease my hair, 50s here we come! I'm going to start saying you have a higher chance of being a serial killer because you're white, so you can't be allowed near anything living. I'm really not enjoying this trip backwards in time.
LessonInMachismo Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 What about a throwback to the 80's, when they ran ads pushing use of condoms with the PC twist to them that ANYONE can gets AIDS (true), while leaving out the fact the the highest percentage of AIDS spreaders were homosexual males?
Edwin MacPhisto Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I don't get the problem with an ad like that.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 I don't even know what it has to do with anything.
Guest Nater Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Money. If its FDA, its political. If it's political, its about money. These tests cost man hours and the sperm bank agencies dont want to shift the cost and neither does the state. Heres the opinion: Sperm banks are a luxury for their clients. Mandatory tests for all contributions as mandated by law and shoulder the cost onto the price of the purchase.
SuperJerk Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 I don't get the problem with an ad like that. Me neither. “Under these rules, a heterosexual man who had unprotected sex with HIV-positive prostitutes would be OK as a donor one year later, but a gay man in a monogamous, safe-sex relationship is not OK unless he’s been celibate for five years,” said Leland Traiman, director of a clinic in Alameda, Calif., that seeks gay sperm donors. FDA just got pwn3d.
SuperJerk Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 RobotJerkoff Gee, I haven't heard that one before. Here's some others you might also try, Mr. Original: RobotJoke RobotJackass RoboDork DorkbotNerd and my personal favorite: RetardJerk.
SuperJerk Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 (edited) RobotGoFuckYourself Oh, please no, Mr. Slayer, sir...please stop flaming me for no reason...my fragile little ego just can't take it.... Come on, dude, that one didn't even make sense. You suck at this. edit: Say, why AM I being flamed here? Just curious. Edited May 7, 2005 by RobotJerk
Slayer Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 "Since it seems we are unfamiliar with sarcasm, I shall close the register at this point..."
SuperJerk Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 "Since it seems we are unfamiliar with sarcasm, I shall close the register at this point..." Cute way to not make any point whatsoever. Good job.
Vyce Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 I haven't read the thread, but I noticed it was about gays and RobotJerk posted in it, so someone tell me, exactly how many times has he equated the FDA to the Nazis and / or Nuremberg? I'd prefer as accurate a count total as is possible.
Slayer Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Say, why AM I being flamed here? Just curious. I was bored and you were there But I've (not seriously) made fun of almost everyone on this board at one time or another, so don't get a big RobotHead
