It's at the top of my list currently. Any standout tracks?

Pretty much the whole thing. Be, The Coner, and the Food are what I'm hooked on particularily right now.

"Be" opened up #2 on Billboard behind Audioslave's new album. Pretty good. Hopefully this album will have some legs and help usher in more conscience hip hop on the radio, mainstream, etc.

I'm not sure I want that. Most what classes itself as "conscience hip hop" has been really subpar of late. It's meandering junk in its own way. I don't need Talib Kweli's shitty new singles blowing up.

That's because to get into the mainstream, most of what passes has to water itself down.

He used to be the man. Beautiful Struggle is ass. I found a lot of Quality pretty boring too. Black Star is one of my favorites but he's gone downhill since. I still like most of his guest appearances, especially his bit on the Roots' Phrenology.

Reflection Eternal is a classic, or near classic, album. It's top of the line. Add Black Star on top of that, and Quality is at least a better-than-decent outing, and you've got a top quality artist. Yeah, there's a drop-off, but he's proven himself to be very good.

As for Mos, I thought Black on Both Sides was another classic (or near classic) album. As for his latest outing, the New Danger, I've learned to really like it; it's insightful and the beats are just going to be a thing of taste. I love how he spends the first half or so of the album talking about Jack Johnson, former heavyweight champ.

Talib is the truth, Reflection Enternal was hot, (Which gets alot of spins in my car) I liked Quality as well, Beautiful Struggle was decent, wasn't better than the first two albums, but its still worth a pick up.
