Kardo Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Basham Bros vs. Teddy Hart and J.D.Michaels Pretty standard sorta stuff, Teddy gets a few arm drags, dropkick and a reverse DDT, and that's about it. JD Michaels (who gets zero offence) gets pinned after a Double Team Baldo Bomb (Brain Damage) Orlando Jordan vs. Shannon Moore Was boring, too standard, punching kicking, dull... Jordan gets an STO then picks up Moore for that weird DDT thing he does, for the finish. London vs. Chavo vs. Akio Was okay, nothing special. The problem with these guys is that I've seen them in alot of better multi man matches. Finish is quick though, came off well. Was a few nice spots, but was disappointing to say the least. They do the spot with the sunset flip into the ring while the other guy is in a german position. London bumps HARD on this. Finish is Chavo holding Akio up for the Gory Bomb, London comes in with a superkick and then quickly jacknifes Chavo for the win.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Keith was there live and he called the 3 way ***1/2
MillenniumMan831 Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Seeing matches live come across much better than watching them on the tube.
Kardo Posted June 4, 2005 Author Report Posted June 4, 2005 It was more about **1/2, I personally thought the tag match from smackdown was a better match.
Toshiaki Koala Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Keith was there live and he called the 3 way ***1/2 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Scott?
tekcop Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 I didn't think anyone payed attention to him anymore.
krease Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Forgive the ignorance here, but who exactly is Scott Keith? I keep hearing about him (in not so nice terms) on these boards...
Dark Age Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Guys, let me review Velocity and/or Heat for the main site. It will work well. Heat and Velocity are on in a very suitable timeslot over here, which means I can watch every week, and, hence, do the reviews/recaps. Plus, I'm decent. Better than the 411, IP and PWT guys who do Heat/Velocity. I doubt you care about the main site anymore, though, which is sad.

tekcop Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Yes, yes they are. Also, I'd like to point out that Keith is a moron and that the Jordan/Moore match was the best match of the night.
Dark Age Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Besides, I offered to do it about a year ago but none of the "important" people gave a crap. I didn't even get a "no"!
haws bah gawd Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I just wanted to add I watched Velocity last night. Paul London impresses me more and more as the weeks go by. He has got to be the most well-rounded cruiserweight WWE has. He has the flying as well as the technical fundamentals down. He can sell anything like hes just been touched by death itself, and never fails to impress me. I would die a happy man if I could just see Chavo, Akio, and London wrestle eachother in any combination every week on Velocity.
razazteca Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 The 3 of them should be fighting for the ECW tv title every week...
haws bah gawd Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 The 3 of them should be fighting for the ECW tv title every week... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You heard it WWE. Give this man a few bucks for the idea and book this for next week!
King Cucaracha Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Yes, yes they are. Also, I'd like to point out that Keith is a moron and that the Jordan/Moore match was the best match of the night. Okay, that's it, I'm never taking anything tekcop says again seriously. Jordan/Moore was terrible. The 3 Way was disappointing, but by NO means as bad as Jordan/Moore. Hell, the tag squash was probably better too.
tekcop Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Jordan/Moore was terrible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Explain.
