Both the PS1 Clock tower games are shit, but CT3 on the PS2 one isnt half bad if you like clock tower. Or better yet go for Haunting Ground on the PS2, similar theme but alot better.

Once you get the lightsaber the combat changes quite drastically, it actually becomes fun once you toy around with the force powers.

Dark side is still more fun.

Dark side is more fun, but I wish that some of the faces had changed a little more than they did upon becoming evil. The bald Chinese guy really should have been sporting some Malak stripes, damn it.

On an unrelated note, both endings sucked.

I dunno, seeing

Zal kill Mission

was too chilling for me to enjoy it. Also dark side was too straightforward for my liking.

Better get cracking at kotor 2 soon.

I'm playing through KOTOR a second time, going all darkside...I haven't played in over a month though...that damn water planet is boring as shit and takes way too long...

I loved

Mission, and wanted her to be my evil sidekick

. Although that demise was mildly cool, I guess. I still have absolutely no interest in KotOR2, unless they've released an unglitched PC version.

The light side ending was... typical, y'know, and lame. The dark side ending was pretty unsatisfying.

Ooo, a bunch of random morons chanting my name. Goodie. Better than the movie ripoff that was the light side ending, though.

Manaan does take forever, especially underwater. They could have allowed your character to move just a fraction quicker.

Manaan, that's the name...yeah the underwater part is exactly what I'm talking about, just slow and tedious...oh and the trial sidequest thing goes on and on forever...

I was quite pleased about getting all the math questions right when decrypting the sith card on Manaan. Never expected to see a log question in an rpg.

Oh yes, agreed with that. So pointless.

When fighting Malak I realised I had no force powers to destroy the jedi capsules. So I had to fight him over and over again. Luckily I had well over 50 advanced medpacs and 100 normal medpacs, and with force resistance none of his force powers can mess you up. Also I beefed up my 2 sabers.

He went down quite easily.

EDIT: And I shot myself up with as many steroids as I had.

I've recently just gone back to Final Fantasy X again for another run-through.

Or, as it should be known in PAL countries, Final Fantasy: We Like Borders.

God damn, it's still an awfully pretty game.

Shadow Hearts II still owns it, though.

for all the bashing FFX got, I actually liked it...the story was pretty good, the characters were pretty interesting (yes even whiney ass Tidus) and the ending was kind of a tear jerker (okay so I didn't cry but it was a pretty sad ending)...oh and like UYI said, it was visually beautiful...

Yeah, definitely a tearjerker. Auron is still one of the better characters introduced in this generation of games (IMO, no flaming please) and can't wait to see him in KH II.

Yunalesca was still a pain in the ass bitch fight though.

She should be a pain, that was a pretty significant fight in terms of the story. The lead-up to Yunalesca (going through Zanarkand) was awesome.

Anyways, I liked X too. Shadow Hearts II is better in some ways, but one aspect X does better if the environments. Much bigger, more varied; when you wandered around Luca, it felt like you were in a big town. Walking around Paris in SH2, not so much.

I wants me some SH3.

After a really good run through most of round 1, better than Character Battle's I - III's opening rounds, picking Square characters in CB IV is kicking my ass in the winding down of the opening round.

How can you afford all of those games? And find room for all of those cabinets?
