Big Ol' Smitty 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 Imagine if Colbert could actually get on stage at a GOP debate. It would be amazingly Swiftian. Like his on steroids and/or acid.
mfn 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 There's a candidate you can trust. More than the others? Probably. And how scary is that? He's got my vote. He seems to be like the only one who actually knows what the fuck is going on in this world.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 i'd be shocked in hillary collapsed. There was very little doubt in my mind that she'd win the nomination, and in fact, I think she is going to be president for good or ill. just a hunch really, she (well her team) is surprisingly competent in national politics. There's tons of little negative bits on Hillary that come out as always, but they are good at forecasting which will be major issues and which will be forgotten and fight and ignore the correct ones. for my part, even though I think he's overhyped these days, I'd vote for Gore. I still respect him for speaking out early about how dumbass the iraq war was, and he is more experienced, and while he is a politician, i dont feel he is too corrupt (though elections have a nasty habit of proving this sort of assumption wrong )
Big Ol' Smitty 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2007 This is pretty funny if you've been following the election closely, but very insider-jokish. http://www.rightwingfacebook.org/index.html
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 heh, that's pretty funny, especially if you use faceobok and are familiar with the way the "feeds" work. Rudy Giuliani is wondering how he can fit 9/11 into a speech about agriculture policy. Mitt Romney is shredding some old speeches. Group Mitt Romney joined the group "Pro-Lifers." Group Mitt Romney left the group "Pro-Choicers."
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 Will the folks at the Democratic Convention embarass every non-drooling American with their own rendition of "FLIP-FLOP!!!" next year?
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2007 I really don't know what Barack Obama is waiting for. Half the time I even wonder if this guy wants to be president or if he just wants to enhance his own image by running and then hoping his number will be called at a later date. When your trailing like he is in the polls you need to go on the ATTACK. Instead, he's too busy playing defense which totally contradicts the situation he is currently in. His strategy must be to let Edwards do all the dirty work in Iowa and then hope to "rise above the fold" but he needs to face the facts that the caucuses are fast approaching and that alone will not deliver him the election. Coupled with the fact that he is going after the youth vote in Iowa, a HUGE risk since they don't usually vote in the caucuses in large numbers, his campaign has a good chance to finish 3rd behind Clinton and Edwards on caucus night. That said, I will be quite sad if Jesse freakin' Jackson's 1988 presidential run goes better than Barack's in 2008. I also find it sad that at a time when we have a viable African-American presidential candidate the African-American vote seems to be behind a white woman in Hillary. I guess so much for breaking down that barrier.

Big Ol' Smitty 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2007 Rudy Giuliani is probably the most underqualified person since George Bush to run for president. He can only say 3 things in a sentence: a noun, a verb, and 9/11. This man is truly not qualified to be president. I'm looking forward to running against Rudy Giuliani. Joe Biden

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2007 And Biden is practically a lock as the next Secretary of State. Other than Condi, he will annoy/anger more people than any Secretary of State since Dulles.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2007 What was with the UFO question for Kucinich? I guess they're treating him as the new Moonbeam or something. We cant have a nutjob that was visited by a UFO leading the country..he might declassify Area 51 and let all those "alien technology secrets" we've been hiding for 60 years out.. Personally as an Independent, right now there isn't one candidate from either party Id vote for. Im most assuredly not voting for Hillary Clinton. If there ever was an election the screamed for the need of a 3rd party, its this one. I suppose some people could hold out for Bloomberg to run as an Independent but I Dont see it happening. Guest Pizza Hut's Game Face Report post Posted November 5, 2007 I like the part where they're white. The bad thing is that New Hampshire is so white, nobody will even notice. Would the commercial have been better if you had a black guy, an Asian woman, a vaguely not-white woman (Indonespanic?) and a college kid in a wheelchair? We're not selling geometry textbooks here. Big Ol' Smitty 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 Ron Paul raised over $2.5 million today alone. Hilariously, supporters chose to do this (purposefully) on Guy Fawkes Day.
CheesalaIsGood 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 Ron Paul raised over $2.5 million today alone. Hilariously, supporters chose to do this (purposefully) on Guy Fawkes Day. My heart is all warm and fuzzy. I registered as a Republican so I could vote for him. Me. A REPUBLICAN. But it isn't official until I get a American flag lapel pin. So really it's just a pending thing.

CheesalaIsGood 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 $6.25 million so far.. uh.. why? For me personally... it's the war. I believe Ron Paul will get us out of there and hopefully undo all the nonsense that has been done via these neo-cons. So sure a thing it seems to a lot of people I think if Paul goes the whole election he could not just split the Republican vote but the Democrat vote as well. At least that is what I am hoping for.
