bobobrazil1984 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 He beat the Clinton machine AND the right-wing smear machine. Assuming he wins which is almost certain now. Think about that.

Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 If Obama wins Florida, it's over. California will go for Obama and he'll have 276 electoral votes.
Jack_Bauer Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 BBC calls Texas for McCain and has it at 200-124.
Anakin Flair Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Yeah, but it's still pretty close in Florida. I just keep thinking "Dewey Defeats Truman"
Guest Smues Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Will the serial pillist get to Obama before Inauguration day? TUNE INTO NITRO TO FIND OUT!
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 The CNN touchscreen guy just did a hypothetical on that screen where he gave McCain EVERY state left except for the west coast 3 and iowa.. he still doesn't reach 270. It's over.
BUTT Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Ohio has gone to Obama. John McCain needs to flip one of Kerry's states from 2004, such as Michigan, to win it all. The totals going for Obama look surprisingly large in Ohio, so I don't think I'm out of line to say that the shit Jennifer Brunner was pulling with the ACORN registrations certainly didn't help McCain. Let the unreality begin!! He didn't follow that with a parenthetical explanation of the shit Jennifer Brunner was pulling with the ACORN registrations. I'm surprised. Although I guess everyone over there knows what he's talking about anyway.
DMann2003 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 They just gave him (McCain) everything on CNN, the close races in IN, FL, NC, VA, they gave him NV, CO, even IA, to show that he'd only get to 266 with all that, because he's not gonna get CA, OR, WA and HI. It's over.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Looks like McCain si gonna pull out Indiana.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Karl Rove gave the Fox News crew cookies. How sweet!

Mecca Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Obama jsut took a lead in Virgiina according to Politico! According to the BBC the votes in the north are all the uncounted votes in that state, Fairfax is only 35% reported...looks like Obama will win it if that's true.
snuffbox Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 McCain had no chance after Ohio fell. That was the end. I can't beieve Al Franken is keeping it close so far. Jesse The Body should've ran.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 CNN's online map says Obama won Iowa. I didn't see that coming.
jimmy no nose Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 The CNBC website are really trying to make things seem interesting. Their current headline: "McCain takes Texas, Utah, Narrowing Obama Lead"
Gary Floyd Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 So, what's the general reaction at The Pit at the moment?
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 The hologram was used for a reporter at the Obama party. I assume if he wins, we'll see the hologram again.
