First round brackets as well as Jimmy Jacobs's opponent on Night 1 Will be announced tommorrow night during the Midlo show...which incidently features Cannon/Hero, Delirious/Strong and a lot of other stuff. Plus, an injured, but as of right now going against doctor's orders (although that may hopefully change) Ian against Eddie Kingston in a Last Man Standing Match.

 

Also announced, Jimmy Jacobs vs. Mickie Knuckles for the IWA Title on Night 2.

 

Pretty good line-up, seeing as they're having to compete against ROH this time around.

Um...why? It's not like she's tiny and dainty...she's a big, strong girl. And I'd believe her beating the living crap out of a guy like Jimmy Jacobs than some of the guys (including Matt Sydal, who looked like he was going to be Jimmy's successor for a while).

I have nothing against Mickie, I even like her, but it's just looking like Ian is handpicking his traineee to go over better workers like MsChif and Daizee. She's already ran down the woman's division. And I have zero interest in seeing her vs Jimmy.

And it's a little disapointing to see the title not get defended throughout the tourney like it has been before

IWA-MS is probably about to go out of business anyway at the end of this year from what I read, and this proves it even more.

Couple of updates.

 

Jonny Storm can't make the trip over and has been removed from the tournament line-up and replaced with Puma. Also, Super Dragon is unavailable for the Friday night show due to "real life obligations". Therefore he's not in the tournament anymore and will be replaced by a Dragon hand-picked, PWG representative. Dragon will be on the Saturday show though, facing one of the first round losers.

Sabin-Gibson and Danielson-CC sound pretty tasty. I'm not too inspired by the rest of the matches though. I'm going to pick Shelley to win it, not for any real reason.

Personally, I think it's a pretty strong line-up. There's only really Steen/Webb, Hero/Harris and Brookside/Marek I'm not all that eager to see. Depending on the PWG guy that is.

As far as I'm concerned, Puma is an upgrade from Jonny Storm. Too bad we couldn't replace Chris Harris with Jimmy Rave.

 

I'd love to see Chris Bosh or Joey Ryan... Scorpio Sky/Human Tornndo/Quicksilver to a lesser extent. Disco Machine maybe too.

 

Any of those six from PWG would be great.
