Vampiro69 Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 I prefer Taco Johns mainly because the food tastes better. Taco Bell is cheaper but I prefer quality to quantity anyways. What is odd is that my Taco Johns serves Pepsi products. Doesn't makes since since Pepsi owns Taco Bell. Just pisses me off is all.
Darthtiki Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Taco Johns sounds like a code for guys busted picking up latina hookers
gWIL Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Dinner at Taco Bell for me is like $.85, for a bean burrito and a water.
King Kamala Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 I like Baja Fresh, I go there whenever I go down to Boston. Gotta love the fish tacos. And they have the shiftiest looking workers there, but I don't worry cause I can see what they're doing and if they try to spit on my sandwich, I'll just call their parole officers.
dubq Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 Uh, the one I've actually heard of - and it ain't Taco Johns. Thought, if I were in California, I would be choosing Del Taco.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I like Taco Bell better than Taco John's.
Tawren Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Never heard of Taco Johns, but between Taco Time and Taco Bell the winner is Taco Bell by a mile.
dubq Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 We also have this lame food court knock off up here called Taco Villa. It's like eating sewage..
Paul Stanley Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Down in TX, Taco Villa's are rival with Taco Bells. I love Taco Villa, but havent had it in awhile since moving to MN
Vern Gagne Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Taco John's only redeeming item are the Potato Oles.
Guest Vitamin X Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 The closest thing to a major competitor Taco Bell has is Del Taco, and that's only on the West Coast and Southwest U.S... And they fuckin rock Taco Bell. Though, being stuck in an area where there's every kind of latin food BUT Mexican, I'm pretty much stuck with Taco Bell. But there's also Baja Fresh (which is REALLY good) and Texas Taco Factory, which I haven't tried.
NoCalMike Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 No Taco Johns out here but... Jimboys > Taco Bell......that's for damn sure.
Dobbs 3K Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 They have a couple Taco Johns in this area (southern Wisconsin), and I do like it, though it tends to be a bit more expensive than Taco Bell.
iggymcfly Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 The meat and potato burritos from Taco John's are the shit. I thought they were more regional though, as when I bring them up outside of Montana, people think I'm crazy. I didn't know they stretched all the way to Wisconsin.
The Czech Republic Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Taco John's slogan is "There's a whole lotta Mexican goin' on." It wins.
Richard Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Don't really like Del Taco too much but the local one serves orange milkshakes.
The Amazing Rando Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Pepsi doesn't own Taco Bell. Taco Bell is owned by the same company that owns Long John Silvers, Pizza Hut, A&W, and KFC. They are known as "Yum!"

Carnival Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Taco places run rampant in Lincoln. Taco John's has like 6 of them. And like 5 Taco Bells. Then comes Taco Inn(Lincoln only, and former employer) has 6 locations. Then the grandaddy of them all Amigos. 15 locations in Lincoln.
Jericholic82 Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Never heard of Taco Johns but we do have Del-Taco here in socal, but I never ate there . only at Bell, and there ok, but I dont like Mexcian food outside of tacos so I dont eat at Bell much.
