cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Orlando Jordan getting his ass kicked by everyone in the main. I'm not sure whether to enjoy that or be mad that he's even getting such choice screen time in the main event.

Friday night is DEATH on television and UPN doesnt have a Saturday night national broadcast. Like UPN execs even watch WWE, unless they hear about a backlash. I just hate them going the obvious route.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 BURCHILL MOTHER FUCKERS~~! I have yet to see Ken Kennedy, so I'm interested in seeing his little schtick. From what you guys say, it's pretty good. That Benoit segment is fucking great to just read. I love that and can't wait to see that on TV. And I would like to actually see a Network angle. While it hurt ECW, I was a big fan of the Network and the Cyrus character. Now if only they had Rollerjam on UPN...
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Ken Kennedy appears on Velocity once and already gets promoted and Kazarian spent 5 weeks there and never got "called up"... I'm guessing Paul London got lost on the way to Stamford for his march
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Hell yea, that Benoit coffee segment sounds like gold. I'm very much looking forward to seeing this Burchill guy in WWE. I just hope they allow some of his incredible athletic ability to be shown off.

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 *The Peep Show with special guests Booker T and Sharmell. The Mexicools came out and ended up being run off by Christian and Booker. *Super Crazy and Psicosis defeated Booker T and Christian. Sharmell and Christian ended up arguing and he walked out. Crazy pinned Booker. Christian's still the heel, he just had a momentarily lapse of tweenership to forward an upcoming feud with Mr. and Mrs. Sharmell Sullivan. *Backstage, Chris Benoit said he beat Orlando Jordan faster then he could drink a cup of coffee and they played the tape of the Summerslam match in a split screen with him drinking coffee. Jesus loves us. the first Friday episode would feature WWE World champion Batista vs. JBL in a Summerslam rematch ...or not.
Guest JMA Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Is OJ losing all the time going to lead to JBL firing him (ala Virgil) and the two feuding? Aren't the two of them supposedly real-life friends?

Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 What they should do is have Christian and Booker T feud, then one of them becomes no.1 contender for the United States Title. They could have a 3-Way feud, Benoit - Christian - Booker T. I would like that.
Guest Ransome Report post Posted August 24, 2005 *Teddy Long and a "UPN representative" announced the Friday Night Smackdown change and that the first Friday episode would feature WWE World champion Batista vs. JBL in a Summerslam rematch <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is it too much to hope that this will be JBL's last world title match ? This match needs to be Batista defeating JBL surely and swiftly and moving on to new contenders, especially after JBL's 15 agonising months in the SD main events. When is the actual Friday night change happening again?

Enigma 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Who's Batista facing next? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was up in the air between Randy Orton and Eddie Guerrero. Judging from the spoilers, Orton looks like he'll be continuing his feud with The Undertaker, so it looks like Guerrero.
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 WTf Guerrero against Batista after Guerrero just lost every fucking match against Rey Mysterio and got totally humiliated? Yeah that match would sell PPV's.
Silence 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 WTf Guerrero against Batista after Guerrero just lost every fucking match against Rey Mysterio and got totally humiliated? Yeah that match would sell PPV's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It didn't stop WWE from giving Jericho (who's lost every PPV match this year and didn't earn a title shot in a match or wrestle much at the time until just 2 weeks before Summerslam) a WWE title shot on Raw against Cena. This is unfortunately how WWE logic works, of course.
