The Orange Bowl and SNL were two isolated, yet unfortunately nationally publicized incidents. Ignorant Ashlee bashers and other people who just don't like her or even that type of music cite those as examples to prove how "horrible" she is. I've seen at least a dozen of her live performances, and she is more than competent. I'm not saying she has a great voice, but she sounds about as good as she does on the record. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you think she is passable as a singer then I really question your taste in music. She has no talent at all. She can't sing, she can't perform and she is an example of what a joke the music industry is at the present time... Other people in the music business who cannot sing make up for it in other ways, such as dancing (Janet Jackson), playing an instrument well (Prince), tarting it up (Britney), or writing (Jewel). The more the industry focuses on other shit like dancing and appearance to "sell", the more talent becomes less important, and the standard of what's bad, ok, good and great will continually be lowered.
