Guest El Satanico Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Yes, that's the other theory
Placebo Effect Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 The Random jokes about British town were awesome. There's that underlying joke about how sitcoms go to new locations when they run out of ideas, and this is AD's "traveling" show.
Ripper Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I am still waiting for buster's version of the chicken dance.
Placebo Effect Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Random Harry Hamlin-L.A. Law reference rocked too.
The Czech Republic Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I am still waiting for buster's version of the chicken dance. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tobias's will involve the word "cock," we can see THAT coming a mile away
Ripper Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I wouldn't think he would have one. it seems to be a Bluth thing. Although I can see him walking in on everyone doing the chicken dances and joining in(like when he started lifting his shirt like Kitty).
LaParkaMarka Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 I just assumed she was retarded. The whole "stupid member of the family", the fact she never admitted to actually teaching that class and talked about "sneaking away" during naptime, etc. "Michael falls for a retard" is a fairly funny premise for a story. Somehow they found a step down from his pathological liar flame. Perhaps in Season 4 he can fall for a midget.
Guest El Satanico Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Season 4? Maybe if Fox gives it one more chance by moving it to FX. The rating was bad last week and it lost viewers this week, so things aren't looking good.
starvenger Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 You'd think NBC would jump at the chance to pick it up if Fox gives it the axe...

Special K Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 This makes me happy for some reason. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=douchechill
Downhome Posted September 30, 2005 Report Posted September 30, 2005 To all of you guys who have the latest episode recorded one way or another: In the pub scene, right after the first mention of "soup of the day", is that Jack black in the background playing darts? At one point it looks like he looks right into the camera and smiles.

The guy playing darts also didn't look right into the camera as far as I could tell. He kind of turned his head past it to talk to look at the person behind him.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 You can pretty much see FOX sticking the fork in AD and Kitchen Confidential.. Fox has replaced the October 10th re-run airings of both shows with a Prison Break rerun. They could have aired re-runs of both of the shows. October 10th is the scheduled Game 5 of the NLDS which may/may not happen since its only a 5 game series.
Downhome Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 The AD season two box set is at #11 overall right now on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/new-f...9698124-6011119
The Czech Republic Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 If Tobias tries to do a chicken dance, he'll probably jut his head out forward and go "cock! cock! cock!"
LaParkaMarka Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Lindsay's chicken dance sounds like she's saying "Cha-chi" over and over. Ooh, foreshadowing.

The Czech Republic Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 She looked like she was part of some plot at the end.
Sideburnious Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Yeah, thats the only thing that throws me off the retarded scenerio. Maybe she's being manipulated. Or the shows just trying to throw you off the retarded track so that it comes out in a few episodes time that George Snr. wasn't actualy threatend, Micheal just mis-interperated the guy in the car.
Precious Roy Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 If she's just a simple retarded girl, and Dave Thomas is just the older brother/father looking after her, why would he give her a ride to and from the courthouse to see Michael after confronting him and warning him to stay away from her? Her character probably is retarded, but there's more to it than that...
Guest Askewniverse Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 "Did you just say 'wink' or did you really wink?"
The Czech Republic Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 "We're Michael's family." "We're nice!"
LaParkaMarka Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I was dying after that "Take this and love us!" bit. God, that show is so good.
Placebo Effect Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Loblaw looking at his pager when Super Dave went "BEEP BEEP BEEP" was fantastic. Not at the level of last week's, but still a great episode.
