chirs3 Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 (edited) The Smartmarks Wrestling Federation presents... SWF FAMILY FRIENDLY LOCKDOWN! LIVE, WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 28th, FROM THE BURLINGTON MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM IN BURLINGTON, VERMONT! (5PM PST, 8PM EST; check local listings) ** Family Friendly rules are in effect! Send all materials (marked matches, promos, c, etc.) to Chuck Woolery.... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- THE MAIN EVENT - SWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. "The Divine Wind" Akira Kaibatsu --- Oh damn. Akira could be pulling a Zyon. In his first match in the fed, he took down a veteran in Manson and not quite a veteran but still quite awesome Devon Walters in a Number One Contender's Match - this kid could be going places. If Magnifico has his way, though, the only place Akira will be going to is PAINSVILLE! ... I am so sorry for that... Anyway, Magnifico won his 4th World Title at Genesis VI, in one of the finest matches of his career - even with a newcomer like Akira, I doubt he'll be slacking off. Will the rookie pull off the upset of the century, or will Magnifico's hot streak continue? Rules: Standard singles match. Word Limit: 6000 Send to: Chuck Woolery -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- SWF CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP JJ Johnson © vs. Zyon -- Iiiinteresting... JJ and Zyon have tangled a number of times, yet JJ cannot claim to have personally pinned the Unique Youth once. Now that his Cruiserweight Title is on the line, such occurences simply will not do. Will the fourth time be the charm for Johnson, or will the Unique Youth prove once again that the phrase "Pulling a Zyon" is totally deserved? Rules: Standard, with Cruiserweight Addendum (outside count goes to 20, no throwing opponents over the top rope) Word Limit: 5500 Send to: chirs3 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The Nightmare Express (Bruce Blank and Marcus Ward) vs. Jay Hawke and Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix -- We needs us some Tag Title Contenders! Apart, Bruce Blank and Marcus Ward have had mixed success, but together, they had an impressive victory over TKO. This victory, along with their declaration on Storm, has earned CC's attention. Tonight, they face the recently allied Landon Maddix and Jay Hawke, who might have visions of Tag Gold dancing in their heads as well... Rules: Standard Tag Team Match. Word Count: 5000 Send to: janusd -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The Crimson Skull vs. Devon Walters -- Because, that's why. Rules: Standard Singles Match Word Limit: 4000 Send to: Justice -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Manson vs. KOJI Kitano -- Icky. Manson's not doing so well as of late. At Genesis VI, he had the chance to earn a World Title shot, but fell short to the newcomer, Akira Kaibatsu - will this loss light a fire under his ass, and propel him into an amazing winning streak of like eight billion straight victories? Or will it be a weight around his neck, dragging him further down into his slump? Rules: Standard Singles Match. Word Limit: 4000 Send to: TheSuperstar -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OPENING BOUT Jimmy the Doom vs. "Big Country" Martin Hunt -- This should be interesting, to say the least. Rules: Standard singles match. Word Limit: 3500 Send to: Chuck Woolery -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Opening Promo: Johnsonosity -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Also Appearing: Larry the Popcorn Vendor! Edited September 24, 2005 by chirs3
JJ Johnson Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Either you gave away the finish to the match, or you left a "d" off of Kaibatsu's nickname. And (Y) for 5.5K word limit.
chirs3 Posted September 24, 2005 Author Report Posted September 24, 2005 (edited) Whoops. Akira's nickname is not "The Divine Win"... was it a typo, or foreshadowing? TUNE IN TO LOCKDOWN TO FIND OUT! EDIT: Bah, JJ got it first. Edited September 24, 2005 by chirs3
JJ Johnson Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 You also spelled "Contender's" wrong. I'm on FIYAH~! tonight. Edit: Twice, actually. World Title match description and the tag match's description. ... FIYAH~!
chirs3 Posted September 24, 2005 Author Report Posted September 24, 2005 I always misspell Contenders. Doesn't matter how many times people point it out or how many times I fix it, I will always stick that damn o where the e goes.
JJ Johnson Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Maybe you need to go to O-coholics Anonymous. ... *never, EVER, makes a joke at 1 in the morning again*
muzz Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 I'll have to make up for my lack of promoage on Storm.
JJ Johnson Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Oh, and I'm snagging opening promo. If anyone else needs it, let me know, because I'm willing to share/give it up completely.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Also on Lockdown, Spike Jenkins vs. Tom Flesher from Genesis! Or maybe sooner. Depends if Flesher is alive or not.
Bruce Blank Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 I've added the tag-team stats for Las Hawkearoaches to use when writing the match.
King Cucaracha Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Not sure if putting tag stats in a seperate post is going to earn a bitching, but yay to youz anyway! Also, promo from Maddix regarding a certain Max King.
Ace309 Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Unfortunately, when my computer died while I was attempting to cover your ass, it ate what 5000 words I had written of the match.
Toxxic Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Can we have a Cliff's Notes version? That'll do.
JJ Johnson Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Spike and Tom enter. Spike and Tom wrestle. There is a big explosion. Everybody dies but Thoth.
King Cucaracha Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 So is the Tag Match an actual #1 Contenders Match then, or is that just card hype?
chirs3 Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 (edited) Card hype. Sorry. EDIT: Which is not to say that the match is of no importance. The winner might not get an instant title shot, but I'll be keeping track of team performances... Edited September 25, 2005 by chirs3

muzz Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I just had an epiphany Landon Maddix & Jay Hawke Landon & Jay Hawke LandonJay Hawke LadJay Hawke Lady Hawke LADYHAWKE!!!! YES Their team name can be the slowest movie ever (I shouldn't have to add this, but in case no one can tell this is a joke ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's an awesome idea, though. And of course, Landon.
jwpeer Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 It's an awesome idea, though. And of course, Landon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is awesome. LandonHawke would be a decent catchy name. Ladyhawke would be awesometastic though, but I think it might be a bit too feminine for them to go for it (i wonder if I throw that in our match from Suicide king if we'll automatically lose)
