2GOLD Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Oh boy...Ben is down... Are these two teams trying to KILL each other or what. Damn.
razazteca Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Damn a redzone INT....thank you very little Brady.
cabbageboy Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 That Colts/Browns game was really weird earlier. I mean Manning was on his game for the most part, didn't miss a pass the 2nd half. Dilfer was solid, I bet he only missed 5 passes the whole game. Yet it was 13-6? It could have been a lot worse for the Browns though...the Colts had to kick 2 FGs in the red zone and also just knelt down instead of scoring at the end. It could have been more like 28-6.
Robert Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Another home game, another loss. Yes, it has to be the year where I finally have season tickets. This is an offensive loss, and that's all. Favre's three picks, Hendo's fumble, and Longwell's shanked kicks. Mike Sherman has lost grip on reality, just fire him and get somebody. We need an offensive coach, and that's all. What the hell is with NE? This is just a weird week for the NFL.

I mean, the very idea of the taunting penalty is stupid anyway. I can knock a guy's head right off his shoulders, but I can't go "Nyah nyah, Manning's got a big BUTT!" Hell, what do these teams do during pregame press conferences? They're verbally taunting their opponents. It's a basic part of football. But the shitty rules is on the books, and Braylon Edwards gets called for one in the first that was never on camera. I'll give the benefit of the doubt on that one. Antonio Bryant gets called for one in the second quarter for lightly tossing the ball toward a Colt that was talking shit to him (which I'd consider taunting, but I'll give the referee the benefit of the doubt that he didn't hear anything). Then late in the third, Bryant comes *thisclose* to catching a TD, the defender knocks it away...then proceeds to spike the football toward Bryant's head as Bryant is laying on the ground without a taunting call. The rule's fucking stupid anyway, but if you're going to call it, call it both ways. Anybody else really freaking bored with NE-Pit at this point?
Richard Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Stupid Niners getting my hopes up like that
therealworldschampion Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 I was at the Eagles-Raiders game today. Pretty decent game despite Reid refusing to run the ball, the injuries, the penalties, and the Eagles getting no pressure at all on Collins. The next two games are at KC and Dallas, so I'm hoping for 1-1 before the bye week.
Guest Smues Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 I hate the fucking Patriots. That is all.
Slayer Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Whoo! Now I can finally hunt for something else on TV ... ... *turns to NFL PT*
2GOLD Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 I have no fucking clue how the Patriots do it anymore. No fucking clue. They just do it. Two great late games with Dallas coming from behind to beat SF and NE coming from behind to beat Pittsburgh.
mike546 Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 The Patriots are like the 1st half Nationals. They win every damn close game. The thing is, thats never going to fucking end.
CanadianChris Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 Your attention please...the Arizona Cardinals bandwagon has reached the end of its route. Any remaining passengers, please disembark from the rear in an orderly fashion.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Im glad the Steelers lost. Now its just sad that the freaking Bengals are in first place and the Ravens are in last..
Slayer Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 The Cardinals' bandwagon passengers can mingle with the Saints' bandwagon passengers
jimmy no nose Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 How much of an idiot does Antwaan Randel El look like right now? I know they had chances after that play where he threw away the lateral, but still bad play. The Steelers offense in the entire second half was some of the worst play calling I've ever seen. Never tried to make any changes until the final drive.

The NFC EAST is the only place where 0-3 means you are dead.

They're looking like a 4-12 or 5-11 team thus far.
Boon Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I hate the fucking Patriots. That is all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PATS PWN J00! ...Sorry. Your attention please...the Arizona Cardinals bandwagon has reached the end of its route. Any remaining passengers, please disembark from the rear in an orderly fashion. Bah- most surprising 0-3 team is Oakland. I thought they would've at least beaten KC. The Chiefs D just keeps getting better.
mike546 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Giants need to start faking the Jacobs run on 3rd and short.

mike546 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Are you KIDDING ME? How much more obvious can a pass inference call be?!? Edit: All the turnovers have really been a smoke screen to the Giant D. It really is terrible. Edit2: UGH. I don't think the D has stopped a play less than five yards.
JustJoe2k5 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Good to see LT is finally back on track after two less-than-stellar games.
KingPK Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I see Cartman's reading the thread. Well?
Slayer Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I see Cartman's reading the thread. Well? ABANDON SHIP!
Richard Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I knew the chargers would blow this lead but not this soon.
Cartman Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I just feel I shouldn't bother thinking when watching Patriots games. I knwo they do thi all the time yet I just don't understand how they won that game. Granted Ben played like crap and the Pats front line totally dominated Pitt's O-line and running game...just...with bandaids they won this game...it's incredible what that team can do. Three Superbowl titles in 4 years and they STILL amaze me nearly every week. Phenominal.
devo Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Oh my God. I've never seen the option executed more perfectly.
strummer Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 This game is making it perfectly clear the Giants without a doubt have the worst secondary in the NFL
mike546 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Did I say that already or what? Just horrific.
