CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 What do you mean, "what took so long?" Last week's thread didn't start until 2 hours before kickoff. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Was drunk when starting this thread. Even so, there's lots of good stories and what have you to make me think this would have been started earlier. In any event, I'll remove my foot from my mouth at this time. Sorry. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 The Chiefs ability to cover big-time WR threats is absolutely pathetic. However, the Eagles ability to stop good runs and short pass 1st downs isn't very good. This could be very close (Eagles by 2-4 pts) or a blowout (Chiefs by 20), depending on whether McNabb stays healthy and the Birds can deal with the stadium and not make errors. ____________ Plus, this week, it's the debut of TODD "I See London, I See" FRANCE
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 “Tomorrow we’re going to take up a donation for the New York Jets relief fund because based on what I’m reading and hearing I can’t imagine these guys showing up,” Billick quipped. “The game is on, isn’t it? Good lord. I know that the Jets aren’t thinking that way. “I can’t turn on the TV without seeing Katrina, Rita and oh my god, the Jets. .. I know their resolve. .. Good lord, I’m digging in my pockets for money. Do we have to house them? I don’t know how we’re going to get them down here.” Billick made his remarks moments after addressing his team and reminded them about the presence of running back Curtis Martin, center Kevin Mawae and cornerback Ty Law along with fiery former Ravens assistant Donnie Henderson at defensive coordinator. “Absolutely, I like to see what is going on in the world, but if I see one more, ‘Oh my God, what are the Jets going to do?’" Billick said. "Good lord, I’ve already donated a lot now. Katrina, Rita and I’m getting a little low on cash.” -- Ah yes..Brian Billick..
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Damn who decides who sees what games? I'm forced to watch Cowboys/Raiders as opposed to Eagles/Chiefs this week. Hell they force me to watch the god damn Cowboys anytime they're on TV. I fucking hate watching the Cowboys play period.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 I'm just thankful I'm not stuck with the Cowboys, Browns or Packers again for today. I get the local bengals game and then KC/Philly.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 I have a feeling Houston will just throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. They likely revamped their playbook with a 2 week break and since they are already written off for the season, they'll go nuts today against this defense. The Bengals Offense will have to carry them today.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Every week I have a prediction for turnovers from the other team against the Bengals, I'll go 2 INTS and 5 sacks on Houston's offense...

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 All the Bengals related stuff will be contained in one post, as to save space.. The Bengals took 8 minutes to score a Field Goal and lead 3-0. David Carr looks too comfortable out there... 3-3. I expected more scoreboard from these two teams by this point, instead each team appeared content with eating the clock and settling for FG. The Bengals defense apparently are stuck in the locker room... David FN Carr has had way too much time in the open field. He needs to be on his back. Both the Bengals centers are injured now... Took about 15 minutes to review a play and the Bengals TD is taken back but they got a defensive PI called...so it's 1st and goal with about 3 yards... and they followed up with a TD anyways to J. Johnson. All that bullshit for nothing... Despite the low score, Palmer is having a great game with 12/15 and 129 yards. I've said it for 4 weeks now, Cincinnati needs to stop with the penalty bullshit... I repeat "Stop with the penalties"... I am STILL waiting for Cincinnati to show up to the game... This has been an ugly game from both teams...
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 It isnt Aaron Brooks fault that the Saints can't score today since nobody can make the simple reception even though it is given to them between the numbers.....and Joe Horn isnt playing today.

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Rams TE Roland Williams went down with a nasty leg injury, it looked like his leg damn near bent in half sideways. Meanwhile Rams score a TD, if i was going to be stuck with Rams/Giants i would have liked to see St. Louis and super-genius Mike Martz get blown out, but i guess it's not going to happen.
