ChrisMWaters Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 OK, here's a weird thought that I had on the way home from work on the train. We know now that the Triple H/Ric Flair feud is in full effect. However...there have been rumors going around about a possible new Four Horsemen...which lead me to this idea. Ric Flair somehow tries to get even on Triple H...attacks him after a match or during an interview segment or something. Suddenly, 3 guys come out...unknowingly working for Triple H until he makes that fact clear to everyone, and introduces them as the new Evolution. To get the sides evened up, Flair gets 3 guys of his own, and thus makes the (WWE) Four Horsemen. Leading at Survivor Series to Four Horsemen vs. Evolution. Thoughts? Like...who'd be the three other guys for each side and such?
Guest Zarock Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Well, depends. Best case scenario is that the teams are well thought out and could be used in the long run. Worst case scenario (and thus most plausible) is that the teams are scrapped together hastily and are made of basically just random faces/heels. Also, for the new Evolution, who else could you get to take the place of Flair? The only person I could think of with that much name recognition would be Hogan, and he seems to be in perma-face mode.
Downhome Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I'd like to see HHH side with Harley Race, taking Flair's place as a manager of sorts. I can just imagine Flair putting together one last group of Horsemen in order to take on HHH once and for all.
King Cucaracha Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Who would he choose though? None of the faces on Raw hardly scream 'Horsemen'.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 4, 2005 Author Report Posted October 4, 2005 Oh, just for the record...one guy I'd like to see on either team (more likely the New Horsemen): Shelton Benjamin. It would at least give him SOMETHING to do...plus the history (as short as it was) with Triple H is there.
dubq Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 No. Can we not just leave the Horsemen dead and buried???
UZI Suicide Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 What was HHH saying when he was attacking Flair backstage? I don't have a tape of RAW but it was something like "Did you think I'd forget? Huh Ric? Did you think I'd forget?!" WUT DA FUK.
Guest Zarock Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 At first he was yelling "WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU?!!" , then later he started yelling about how he wasn't going to let "it" slide. I have no idea what he was talking about.
Caliban Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Watch next week and find out. There was a lot of stuff on Raw like that. I like it... maybe some more decent storylines are coming up.
Dangerous A Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Watch next week and find out. Yeah, bet it takes HHH 20 or more minutes to explain it too.

claydude14 Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 New Horsemen = Flair, HBK, Benjamin, Striker New Evolution = HHH, Race, Carlito, Masters
Dandy Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 The reason Triple H is mad at Flair is because he could not help him retain then regain the Title. Flair was supposed to be his ace in the hole, but Flair didn't come through.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Wasn't Triple H yelling "KING OF KINGS!!!" in the backstage brawl portion? or something like it?
Downhome Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Yes. HHH claimed to be the King of Kings.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I'm hoping it'll be something creative like Rudo's idea from way back when but it'll read like this Triple H: How could you just leave me to rest? Let me be forgotten and in my time of need, you came back and decided to put yourself over the team? Me and you were a BOND! But you broke it when you came back to take that title to once again proclaim to be "THE MAN!"...for that I lost any respect I had for you and it's time for me to show you, just why they call me THE GAME...(repeat for 15 minutes)
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 New Horsemen = Flair, HBK, Benjamin, Striker New Evolution = HHH, Race, Carlito, Masters <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ugh. Interest = zero.

Interest = zero. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just curious, why would you have zero interest. To me, at least for the New Horsemen, that sounds like a pretty solid group.
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Out of those 8 people, I only like Benjamin. I like Flair, but this would mean he'd play a big role on Raw, which he shouldn't be doing.

Lil' Bitch Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Me thinks HHH is going to cost Flair the IC title before Taboo.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 That supposed Horseman group goes against everything the original group was based upon.
goldengreek Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 horsemen: flair, big show, benjanin, rvd/ or hbk evolution: hhh, carlioto, masters, snitski/ or kane
Mecha Mummy Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 horsemen: flair, big show, benjanin, rvd/ or hbk evolution: hhh, carlioto, masters, snitski/ or kane <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Big Show should never, ever be in any incarnation of the Four Horsemen.

Big Show is MUCH better than former Horseman Sid Viscious. If Sid can be a Horseman, why not Show?
Guest I miss Test. Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Some group = Bunch of faces. Some other group = HHH who looks stronger than all of the faces combined, and some random heels HHH can turn on and will say they respect HHH mightily. Ugh. Interest = Zero.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 horsemen: flair, big show, benjanin, rvd/ or hbk evolution: hhh, carlioto, masters, snitski/ or kane <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Big Show should never, ever be in any incarnation of the Four Horsemen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh please... Show looks like he's about have a heart attack with every step.
BruiserKC Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Any WCW-ECW idea that Vince has taken has been stomped on, drawn and quartered, hung, poisoned, left to die and then came back later to burn the remains. The NWO made into a laughing stock, FBI (made anyone embarrassed to be an Italian), etc. The Four Horsemen need to just stay a great memory of wrestling's past, because you know Vince and Hunter will fuck it up.

Nothing exciting about him at this point in his career.
