UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 The new online game's pretty neat, if not that you can't win anything cool.
Red Baron Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 I need Broadway and Pennsylvania railroad to win something.
fazzle Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Not unless you count the shitty ass food prizes and cell phone prizes from the online game.
Darthtiki Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 The best buy pieces are great touch though I'm holding the online pieces for the itunes downloads
Der Kommissar Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Last year, I won a free fantasy basketball team from sportsline and some video game, among other things, from playing the Online game. Nothing too special. I actually had a friend in college who won a trip to Disneyland from one of the McDonalds games. Lucky bastard.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Free ice cream cone. Needed to fill out the skill-testing question which was 36 - (8 + 3) = ? and also needed to sign off on the bottom of the form that I received no help from an employee.
CanadianChick Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 A bunch of us were making fun of the new commercial they have for the Monopoly Game coming back. "Dude, let's totally get a bunch of fries and play monopoly and make a PARTY out of it! It'll be like a cool rave! All right!" I hate it when McDonalds tries to appeal to young people in a cool way. Stick to brainwashing the children.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 When McDonalds starts to pick up on a trend/style, that style is officially dead.
Guest Fishyswa Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Oh come on now, McD's MADE the promotional clown business what it is today....
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Aside from a McFlurry or some sandwich, nothing, although I like the $3 Best Buy stickers. Order a large premium chicken value meal and you could get $6 worth of Best Buy discounts...
Black Lushus Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 whenever I win free large sandwiches or large fries, i can't really complain...
Darthtiki Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Aside from a McFlurry or some sandwich, nothing, although I like the $3 Best Buy stickers. Order a large premium chicken value meal and you could get $6 worth of Best Buy discounts... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a one in three chance you get a three piece. My gf and I ordered two of the sandwiches and ended up with 2 $1 bbbs

MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I've gotten $8 in Best Buy Bucks (2 $3, 2 $1) at work from patient's guests who bring food back from McDonalds. Its the only benefit I've had for having to stay and wash dishes at night this week. Plus, I've gotten a ton of MT Dew Caps..trying to win an XBox 360 so I can sell it on Ebay.

My gf and I ordered two of the sandwiches and ended up with 2 $1 bbbs <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hence why I said: ...you could get $6 worth of Best Buy discounts... With a large fry (which has the BB game piece) and a chicken sandwich (which has one, too.) So you could get either $2, $4 or $6 off your meal via BB discounts...
CanadianGuitarist Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 Obligatory Simpsons reference: My gf and I ordered two of the sandwiches and ended up with 2 $1 bbbs What's that extra B for? It's a typo.
Red Baron Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I thought you can only use one coupon per purchase?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I'm sure that's the case with the McDonald's free food coupons, but you can (I assume -- you were allowed to last year) use multiple Best Buy coupons when buying a DVD/etc. Or at least I hope so...
Black Lushus Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 last year I used about 6 bucks worth at one time on a $12 CD...before you say anything, the expiration date on the bucks was coming up and I didn't have aspirations at the time to use them on anything bigger than a CD...
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 I'm up to $28 in Best Buy bucks. Having co-workers that don't collect these things ownz. Or is it pwnz?...
Red Baron Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 Its 0wnz!!!!11!!!1!! I was reading the monopoly game and it said you could win these prizes. So what happens when I get all four railroads (needs Shortline damnit)
the max Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 Can you use Best Buy bucks all at once? Or are you only allowed to use one coupon at a time?

So what happens when I get all four railroads (needs Shortline damnit) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a limited supply of each prize. The first people to claim them win.

CanadianChris Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 So what happens when I get all four railroads (needs Shortline damnit) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good luck beating those 18 billion-to-1 odds.
Darthtiki Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 I'm thinking I'm gonna use mine on the Batman Anthology. Also next week the Chance and Community Chest prizes are iTunes downloads on the online portion of the game.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 A free small McFlurry, that's about it.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 I'm one sticker away from getting the fucking car.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 I'm one sticker away from getting just about anything. Damn PA Avenue...
