Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Reggie Bush's line- 16 rushes, 189 yards, 3 TD's. Plus the 'push' assist to get Leinert in the end zone for the game winner. Reggie Bush 0wned today.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 15, 2005 And in other news that'll make SC fans really happy, UCLA is down 21-7 to fuckin WSU right now.
Sass 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 That was one of the best football games I've seen in a while, amateur or pro. Goddamn. GO TROJANS~!!!
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 it's Reggie Bush vs. Vince Young for the Heisman
Guest bigm350 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 it's Reggie Bush vs. Vince Young for the Heisman <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd say Bush; especially after his one- man showing today.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 I'm not as much as a college football fan, but USC-ND ruled it. That had to be one of the most enjoyable football games I've watched since the Pats-Carolina Super Bowl. Weis' strategy reminded me so much of the Colts playoff game last year in that he tried to eat up as much clock as possible and keep the USC offense off the field. There were some DAMN good sports finishes on TV in the span of 20 minutes with this game, Michigan winning on a TD pass and the Astros holding off St. Louis. mike546 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Thinking back on it, and now looking at the replay, theres no way Leinart got tackled at the one yard line. He was atleast back at the three.
Guest bigm350 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Weis is a damn good coach. Once he gets some more talent to go to ND( playing wire-to-wire with USC will probably get ND some views from big time prospects), then I wouldn't be surprised to see ND rise to glory again. Mik 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 I watched Penn State score and then Michigan drive down and score on the last play and nearly the same exact scenario in South Bend. I just feel priviledged to have seen both of the games. With the ALCS and the Peter Manfredo Jr./Sergio Mora rematch tonight - it's gonna be a good sports day. Guest bigm350 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Before that last play of the game in Michigan-PSU game, I was wondering when Henne was going to throw the damn ball toward the end zone, instead of throwing dink passes underneath. Then all was forgiven when he hit Manningham for the TD.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Here's a bit of a debate either: Who's more of a pro-caliber quarterback, Leinart or Henne?
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Ah fuck USC. God damn the end of that game just ripped my heart out. Hopefully UCLA or Cal can finish their asses off. People around Oklahoma are like "They might break our record 47-game winning streak!" Yeah well they'd have to be undefeated next season too. And that isn't happening. Oh yeah and fuck Rhett Bomar in the ass. I mean it was so smart to run Tommy Grady out of town and then bench Paul Thompson. This guy truly is the future of OU football! Fökai 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Here's a bit of a debate either: Who's more of a pro-caliber quarterback, Leinart or Henne? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't exactly know, but Leinart put everything on the line in that last quarter after what people say may be a concussion suffered in the fourth (I don't recall the play). The motherfucker dove in head-first on that second-to-last USC play like he HAD to win the game. Whether he was pushed into the endzone or not, he kept his legs moving and got in like an Elway or Favre would do. I haven't seen enough of Henne to judge, but he pulled that last comeback out of his ass, just like a true professional...kudos to him. On the other hand, today proves that every team in the NFL should do what they can to draft Reggie Bush.
lomasmoney 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Are you fucking retarded.....Leinart hands down, I mean granted Henne is a sophmore but Leinart was light years ahead of him when he torched Michigan in the Rose Bowl at the same age
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Don't look now, but Vanderbilt's playing hardcore against Georgia.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Looking at the polls and everyone's position, LSU probably goes above Notre Dame, but ND stays at #9 I bet. ND probably gets to a BCS bowl if they win out.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Are you fucking retarded.....Leinart hands down, I mean granted Henne is a sophmore but Leinart was light years ahead of him when he torched Michigan in the Rose Bowl at the same age <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Leinart has the leadership qualities and clutch ability (as was obviously displayed today), but from what I've seen, Henne has way more physical ability. And, again, I'm talking about pro-caliber here, meaning whose abilities would translate best to the pros.

slabinskia 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 How far will penn state drop in the polls ?I thought they had a good chance to win going into the game and we all know how that ended.A bunch of good games today with possibly two of the best games this year. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 God damn straight OU sucks. That offense is just horrible. And now that's going to send me on a rant against the coaching staff. Why the fuck is Rhett Bomar still the QB? He had one good game against KSU and well they suck bad. The guy has gotten more opportunities than Thompson and far surpassed the suckiness that Thompson displayed against TCU. Yet this guy is still the QB? I know he's young and they want him to learn on the job but I mean it's obvious that this guy is NOT GOOD and probably won't be good. So why is he still the QB!?!? It makes no sense! And also it's obvious what we're trying on offense doesn't work so why do you stubbornly stick to it Chuck Long? It's frustrating b/c this stuff can be fixed! Nice to see that big dude from American Idol sucking Reggie Bush's dick on the way out of the tunnel. It is down to Bush and Young for the Heisman and well USC could probably still do well without Bush(not be dominant but do well) but Texas would be nowhere without Young. Bored 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 This coming from the guy who was "sucking" Jason White's "cock" ad nauseum for the last two years on the board. USC whooping Oklahoma was over nine months ago. Get over it!
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 On a sidenote, I wouldn't mind if the Eagles tanked the season or traded up for a chance at drafting Reggie Bush.... Looking at Penn State's schedule, the remaining games are: at Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, and at Michigan State. There's still a good chance of them winning out and taking the Big Ten title. Notre Dame's remaining schedule is: BYU, Tennessee after a bye week, Navy, Syracuse, and at Stanford. If they beat Tennessee they'll finish 9-2 and get to a BCS bowl.
