CBright7831 Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Former WWF champion Mick Foley appeared this morning on Toronto's "Breakfast Television" to promote his new novel "Scooter." When asked about wrestling, Foley noted that he would be wrestling Carlito Caribbean at Taboo Tuesday and the fans would be voting to determine what persona (Dude Love, Cactus Jack, Mankind) he would be returning to the ring as. From PWInsider. This match just got a little more interesting.
Guest JesusJuiced Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 I want a "loser feuds with Samoa Joe" match.
Guest Fook Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 That's actually a pretty good idea, although there's no way the fans are picking Dude Love over the other two.
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 That's actually a pretty good idea, although there's no way the fans are picking Dude Love over the other two. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unless we START VOTING!!!!
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 It would be a nice way for the IWC to stick it to Foley.
Mecha Mummy Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 That's actually a pretty good idea, although there's no way the fans are picking Dude Love over the other two. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that's who I'm voting for at the very least. That would make for a golden comedy match.

The Niggardly King Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 I thought it'd be a hair match and some other stuff.
Guest clockworkraven Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Foley's going to keep wearing that t-shirt now.
EdwardKnoxII Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Speaking of Foley. Wasn't he going to go on the show the talk about what Orton did to him? Was it just wrong info or did they change it at the last minute?
Black Lushus Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 the epitome of horrible booking was Rumble 98 (aside from the horrible Rumble match itself) when 3 Rumble spots were used by each of Foley's "personas"...
razazteca Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 My vote goes to Mick "Companyman Jobber" Foley
Guest MugumboMcgee Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Dude Love vs Carlito Caribbean Cool........gimmicky, but good.
Guest MugumboMcgee Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 crappy explorer, sorry double post.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Mick is such a corporate whore. He had the greatest opportunity of his life to end his career on the best possible note by putting over the best worker in North America...instead he's jobbing to the worst worker in north america.

Just pay them their $20, less in some cases, and they'll be happy to bend over and take it for the chance of a pop.

They never said who was supposed to actually be at that spot.

Remember one of the DOA guys got attacked before the match because people thought he was Austin from behind? It's simple logic. Guy got attacked before the match...missing entry...

I'm pretty sure Mick said somewhere in one of his books that honor means something. I'm going to copy that page and have mick foley autograph that section.
CBright7831 Posted October 20, 2005 Author Report Posted October 20, 2005 I bet the idiot fans will pick Cactus Jack. I'd rather have Mankind or Dude Love. The last time we saw Dude Love was in May of 98 and Mankind in early 2000.
Guest JMA Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Hair vs. hair. In a SHOCKING SWERVE~! Foley goes over.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I want Corporate Dude Love with his new false teeth and suit.
Precious Roy Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Dude Love all the way, he's the PERFECT opponent for Carlito, they'd work a great comedy match.
Corey_Lazarus Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Technically, Mick's still retired. He's just doing a few post-retirement matches here and there, dig? He's not with the company full-time, just coming in to put over a young talent and then he'll disappear for a while.

David Blazenwing Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Decisions, decisions... man, as much as I want Mankind again, I REALLY think we need to see Dude Love one more time. The Dudester's got my vote.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull some sort of trick to have Foley wrestle as all three gimmicks. Maybe have him start out as Dude Love, they fight to the back where they 'lose' Foley and he reappears as Mankind and then they do some other gimmick where Foley is out of sight and then he returns as Cactus Jack. Carlito can then beat him clean, and they can play it up as Foley having to resort to all three of his wrestling personalities to fight Carlito but that it still wasn't enough to get the win.
