How can TNA even spin doctor this?

Tenay?

"We all saw an awesome night, where the BAD GUY YOU DON'T LIKE fufilled his dream and defeated THE OTHER GUY YOU DON'T LIKE..."

Despite being on joke of a network Spike TV on a national scale, TNA is still run by goofy hicks. Yeehaw!

a Sub-par TNA show above almost all the WWE ppv's this year.

At least HHH only figureatively buries his opponents

What the fuck? He's transitioning that to someone else that Jarrett doesn't want to put over.

That's a good hot finish to the show... Have th 3D return to take out...the "other" guy in Team Canada.

Not having seen any WWE PPV's other than WM I cna't really comment, all I know is that this show seriously SUCKED

I'm so glad I didn't buy this. Fuckin Rhino....I mean seriously Rhino. TNA just loves to be random lately.

What's funny is that you know that maybe Vince and quite a few WWE wrestlers are checking this out of curiosity.

I can just see HHH and HBK sitting on HBK's plush leather couch in San Antonio, TX, watching this on PPV and just laughing at how freakin' bush league TNA is.

HBK: "Look at these midgets, they can't work...holy shi...sorry about that Jesus... Paul did you see that? Holy Fu...please forgive me for my swearing Jesus, and for using your holiness in vain, but did you just see that lame X fall down TWICE? HAHAHAHA. Vince would never sign these vertically challenged losers.

HHH: " You're exactly right, Shawn. These guys just don't know how to work. All they do is do spot after spot after spot after spot. Not my dog, spot, or my liver spot, but just spot after spot. They can't tell stories in the ring like I do. With one high knee I can make the fans gasp in awe, but these TNA guys have to do crazy like the super duper canadian destroyer of flippity flop doom, while springboarding off the ropes to achieve the same effect. I am truly that damn good, and the best wrestler in the world, honkhonkhonk.

*Shawn gives HHH the evil eye*

HHH: You're not allowed to look at me like that anymore. You're born again and don't you forget it.

Shawn: Sorry, how can I make it up to you?

HHH: By constantly praising me in promos, and by saying I'm the best wrestler alive

HBK: Done

*HHH turns his head to look at the man behind him*

Kevin Nash: Did someone just say liver spot...damn that was a great skit...

*Kevin Nash hands over HHH a bottle of water, and Shawn Michaels a glass of red wine*

HHH: Thanks for the drinks, Kev. Sit down and let's see what midget they get to replace you, honkhonkhonk. I can't believe you used the ol' standby of chest pains and nausea like you used at Starrcade 97. You're one devious, dude, man. Nobody is better at destroying companies than you, Kev.

Kevin Nash: There's no bigger rib than putting a company out of business. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

It wasn't a bad show. It was certainly better than WWE PPVs lately, but not by a huge margin. It was a very hit or miss show, and the crummy ending is going to leave a bad taste in people's mouthes. Overall it was kind of just an average show.

You would've thought TNA would have atleast debuted someone new here to surprise the new people ordering this ppv. I think those 90 day no competes are over... What happened to the TNA takeover angle supposedly Jarrett was talking about. The whole takeover was Rhyno and the Dudleys? :hm:

WM had some decent matches (Taker/Orton, Money in the Bank, Angle/Michaels) and some stinkers (both title matches, Eddy/Rey) but overall wasn't "OMG AWESOME WM!"

But that's WM. Even last month's poorly hyped and booked No Mercy had better ringwork and storyline execution than this mess.

The ending went off fantastic. Nobody could believe Jarrett jobbed to Rhino.

Anyone who says this was better than No Mercy is flat-out trolling.

Easy thumbs up.

Well, quick thoughts. Maybe later, I'll give a fuller review.

+The X 4 Way Dance that was free, was the MOTN.

+Joe/Liger was a good as something in 7 minutes will be. Horrible decision to give it only that time.

+Brown still can't cut a promo and can't work. Hoyt looked as good as he'll ever look. Find him a tag partner and keep him there.

+Diamonds/Jobbers took up to much time that should've gone to the opener

+Ultimate X wasn't that bad, had some good spots, the "x" botch is almost a requirement in this gimmick match.

+Monster's Ball delivered the violence it promised. Jeff Hardy is nuts...what's new.

+The 3LK/Canada match? I dont even remember it besides DH asking about the shoe thing

+The Iron-Man match smoked the WWE version. Not their best match.

+The gauntlet match...good idea to compenstate for Nash's absence...the wrestler selection seemed rather suspect

+Rhyno going over wasn't sensible...

+Rhino wins the title?!? Well, that made even less sense.

Over-all? Disapointing show that still delievered to an extent for the wrestling but the booking was flawed. A bad TNA ppv but still above most WWE offerings.
