Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 I think the Colts lose in Cinci and possibly against Pitt and/or SD. They won't go undefeated.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 8, 2005 What's that about Ben picking up internet chicks? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I mentioned it weeks ago during a Steeler MNF game, BenRo mentioned the best place to pick up chicks was on the internet, which I found amusing considering one would think the star QB for the Pittsburgh Steelers could do better than cyberpussy. Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 If the Colts REALLY wanted to, they could probably go undefeated. But since most teams throw the last two games, and the Colts probably will since they have pretty much clinched homefield, I doubt we'll see it.
Sass 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 The Steelers and the Chargers are the only two teams I see, maybe, beating the Colts in the regular season. Maybe.

Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 8, 2005 Considering the Pats history, they can fuck themselves for whining about a superfluous 2-point conversion.

Going undefeated in the NFL, especially nowadays, would be a tremendous honor anyone would love to try to achieve. And we'd all like to see them go undefeated in the regular season just to take a shit in the playoffs.. preferably to New England at the RCA Dome, of course. Kinetic 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 Hey, the Manning vs. Manning Super Bowl talk starts at the end of this game. A little premature, maybe? I don't think New York beats either of the two elite NFC South teams in the playoffs.

Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 1998 vs. Buffalo. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was during the Pete Carroll era and thus I don't remember it too well. Of course I've tried to forget those three years ever happened.
Kinetic 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 Don't sleep on Seattle in the NFC. They've got a nice defensive this season, and receivers who can actually hold onto the ball. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Seattle is the #2 seed behind Atlanta. New York is #3. My incredibly presumptuous and mostly misinformed playoff predictions have Atlanta knocking off New York in the NFC Championship game. Edit: And can somebody please dig up the lyrics to "Footloose"? Sass 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 The Cowboys and the Chargers are my SB match-up but they're ssllllooowwwlllyyyy making their way towards the playoffs where anything can happen. If not, then shit, Colts or Chiefs vs. Falcons or Panthers. Those are 4 teams who I could see going all the way if they get into the playoffs.

I know they have some ballers on the 2ndary but their LB's and fat fuck linemen look like the pits this season whenever I've seen them play. That's not good enough to make it into the SB and is why I'm not picking Cincy until they get some fat fucks on that team who can block and eat RB's for lunch. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 I'm amazed anyone would think the Pats have a hope in hell of beating anyone in the playoffs. If Miami gets anything going they might have a shot at that division. Keep in mind that the Pats now have to go on the road to play the Dolphins, which isn't a gimme. I am proud of the Colts, but not that proud of them....after all they just did what the Chargers did to NE. So we now have the Pats getting the shit kicked out of them, Eagles getting their asses kicked and dumping T.O. What is this, the NFL trying to not be stale as shit? Especially since the Panthers beat the defending champs while Atlanta lost to them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There are two head-to-head games to decide that, but I just honestly feel that Atlanta is the better team. As a Bucs fan, I'll concede that Carolina is pretty good. But as someone who lives in the South and pretty much has to decide each week whether to watch the Panthers or the Falcons, Atlanta looks like a better overall team. If Vick can improve as a pocket passer, this will quite literally become the best offense in the league.
Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 8, 2005 I'm sensing a weird year for the AFC playoffs... much like 1993 & 2000 when the best teams were in the Wild Card game. San Diego looks like the best team to me... they've just been blowing too many games in the end. Denver, meh, Plummer will eventually go back to his old self... and Indy still seems too soft to me on defense.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted November 8, 2005 Yes yes yes. Awesome. Fuck the Patriots in their stupid asses god damn that was great. They're going to manhandle the poor Texans next week, and walk the clouds hereafter. I'm still predicting two losses. The Chargers, and some divisional game you wouldn't figure. Jacksonville, probably. The series record the past few years speaks for itself as to which team's been better, but it finally feels good to see them go into Foxborough and end up wiping the floor with their defense. Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2005 I said when Harrison got hurt that we were in deep trouble, and that whatever we did accomplish this year would be gravy. I also said I wouldn't make any excuses. Props to the Colts for an excellent game. That said, I'm not ready to write this team off yet. I'm not sure if we've got the horses to run with Indy on the road in the playoffs, but I still think we've got enough to put ourselves in that position. As for the game tonight, man, the injuries on defense really got picked apart. Also, I kind of liked the onside kick just for the balls it took to call it, not sure if it was the right call even though we almost had it, but it was like from the start of the game the Colts had us on our backs throwing bows and we were just fighting to avoid the Kimura. There was no sense of Belichick thinking we'd be in the game without throwing everything at the wall, no faith in the defense to make stops, no faith in the offense to pound the ball and burn clock. If Dillon doesn't fumble there it might be a different game, but I still don't think we could have outscored them the way things were going. Really frustrating to see the Colts get the play they need every single time, no big step up stops from the Pats, but turnabout is fair play, the Colts had been waiting a long time for a game like this. We'll regroup, reload....this shit ain't over

Also, USC beats the living shit out of Texas in the Rose Bowl. Not necessarily in that order.
