MNF for Nov 7: Colts vs Pats

Recommended Posts

It was a catch. He had control right before he got to the ground.

Anyways everyone hates the ESPN football song but what do you think of the Tim McGraw song?

I was wrong. 35-7 not 35-3...they got a td on the opening drive, instead of a FG. Other than that this game is quickly moving to finish just as I thought it would. There's no real reason the pats SHOULD win this game, they just aren't that good.

As to be expected, New England has zero defense.

Least the Colts will finally win and this stupid Colts-Pats whatever feud can end. I was getting sick of it.

Peyton is not beating the Patriots.  Peyton is beating the Patriots backups.

Look, the Colts will still beat the Patriots. I don't care what team the Pats field. We can't have it both ways.

When the Pats beat a team hurt by injuries, we still say they beat whoever. No matter what versions they are facing, the players are still part of the Patriots team. Colts are beating the Patriots, end of story.

No excuses.

So, now you'll use injuries as an excuse? Last year, they were down to using Troy Brown as DB.

Anyone think the implications of this game are a bit overrated? I mean The Colts are probably going to end up beating a pedestrain Pats team, and even if they did lose tonight, it's not like New Englad has a chance in hell to get homefield in the playoffs.

If it wasn't for Peyton never beating them at home, they wouldn't be making a big deal out of it.

You're right. This will go down as Colts beat Patriots. And there's no other way to label it. BTW- you find me a team that the Patriots beat that was as fucked up by injuries as the Patriots are now- you won't. It just sucks that 4 members of the Pats seconday are out for the season. But whatever.

I'm not going to bitch about it. We've had it made the past 4 years, I really can't complain.

They were using Troy Brown as a nickelback. Its not like he was out there covering the number one option of the other team. From what I've seen tonight I believe that if the Pats had a healthy Patrick Pass, Richard Seymour, and Matt Light along with the Colts not coming off a bye then this game would be much different.

I said at the start of the year that the league giving the Colts a bye before the game in New England was their way of trying to help Peyton not become the next Dan Marino.

Hmm, that'd be nice if this came back to bite them in the ass later on. Probably won't be it'd be interesting. Pats need to score two TD's with 2-point conversions apiece AND a FG just to send it into overtime.

It's not officially over, but just about. That stat about Dungy being the only coach in NFL history not to choke a 14 point lead is pretty interesting as well (50-0 or something like that)
