CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 Kansas FG, they win 24-21. So much for Texas getting any kind of game next week. Colorado is going to get massacred.

UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 How can anyone honestly defend the Big 12? It is so fucking pathetic. The Big 12 North winner was decided by who sucked less between Colorado and Iowa State.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 Yeah seriously. If it wasn't for Texas being undefeated and #2 this year, the Big XII could possibly be on the same level as the Big East.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 The Big 12 North is totally horrible. The South is better and would have been somewhat respectable had Oklahoma not chosen to play half the season with their collective heads up their asses. But the fact that Texas Tech is the #2 team in the conference shows the complete lack of depth outside of Texas.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 An interesting question at this point is what woud happen if UCA managed to beat USC. What kind of tie-breaker does the Pac-10 use to determine the conference champion? Assuming Texas takes care of business against Colorado, who would end up in the title game, USC, UCLA, Penn State, or LSU?
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 Sun Belt Update! Arkansas State beat North Texas 31-24. UL-Lafayette leads UL-Monroe 33-14 at the half. If that holds up Arkansas State goes to the New Orleans/Lafayette Bowl. Answer to the above, USC has essentially clinched the Pac-10 BCS bid. UCLA and Oregon didn't play each other so they wouldn't be able to use the standard three-way tie procedure and all would have identical records thus they'd just go by BCS ranking. USC is a pretty much a lock to be ranked higher than UCLA and Oregon regardless what happens next week. Edit: Scratch that, USC played 12 games this year (road game against Hawaii) so they end up with a better record than both. In any event my understanding is USC has already clinched the Pac-10 BCS bid.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 I was looking at 2006 schedules, and I noticed that OU is running a fucking gauntlet next year. 3 OOC games are Oregon at Autzen Stadium, Washington at home which won't be too hard, then Miami in Norman. That is one tough OOC. OU/Miami should get a primetime slot on ABC, considering its two huge programs meeting, although not for the first time.
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 The just said on CBS that the Outback Bowl will likely take South Carolina and the Independence Bowl will likely get Oklahoma. I can't figure out how either scenerio happens but what do I know. Big time choke job by UTEP. They had two chances to win the Conference USA West division but lost last week at home to UAB and then lose again this week to SMU. It will be Central Florida vs. Tulsa in the title game. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 FUCK! I didn't see OU's OOC schedule yet. We're not going to be much better next season. This sucks. I bet we go 1-2 in those games unless they figure defense out. What was that about AD earlier? OSU sucks but their run defense isn't bad at all and AD has gone over 200 against OSU. He's made two untouched TD runs of 84 and 73. That is what a healthy AD can do.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 Does anyone else have problems with Yahoo sports during Football games? I get this error that says "Sorry, Unable to process request at this time -- error 999." This really pisses me off as I enjoy reading box scores during games. teke184 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Florida State is getting killed by Florida, which hurts the ACC's computer rankings and helps the SEC.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 I know and it makes me so happy. I figured USF would have a struggle up at UConn in that freezing weather. In a more depressing development I think Brian Brohm was injured in the 2nd half of the Syracuse game today. Christ, if he's out and Michael Bush is out U of L might well job out to UConn on the road next week too. Can't really say it was dumb to have Brohm in though, the game was only a 27-17 ballgame at that point. If he'd gotten hurt when we got up 41-17 then it's time to get pissed at Petrino. Basically Cuse's strategy was this: We suck and can't win, so we're going to try and kill Brohm. It worked pretty well too. I'm shocked that they are now 1-10, since I found them easily better than Rutgers and Pitt.

Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Damn, FSU really blows now. I thought Weatherford had improved since the Miami game... They're fortunate to be going to a bowl, at all.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Is FSU 7-4? Yikes. It's like the Big XII title game. A 7-4 team vs. a team that wants to eat their lunch. AD finishes the day with 237 yards and 2 TDs. He goes over 1000 on the season and he doesn't even play the full season. He'd have close to 2,000 and over 20 TDs if he'd never gotten injured and he'd be in the thick of the Heisman race. Good god. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 FSU you needs to make some major changes. Either Bobby Bowden retires, or they bring in a good offensive cord/QB coach. The offense hasn't been the same since Mark Richt left for Georgia.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 You can't really defend the South either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Texas is the legit #2 team in the country. OU is decent and so is Tech. It's about on par with most conferences. One good team and then a bunch of average teams. The fact they have the #2 team in the country helps the conference a lot. One bad year doesn't erase the fact that the Big XII has been good in the past. I need replays of Peterson's runs. Hopefully OU can play like this in their bowl game. If they play Oregon.....they'll probably lose. If they head to the Alamo Bowl and play Iowa or Michigan then they can win the bowl game.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Oh and the Big XII needs to either use the instant replay or not have it at all. The Big XII has some of the worst officiating in the country and they have the worst review booths in the country. `

Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 I think conference rankings for this season have to be something like: SEC Big 10 small gap here Pac 10 another gap ACC Big 12 another gap Big East I'm not going to rank mid-majors because I haven't followed them enough, so someone else can do that. I think it's actually pretty close between the SEC and the Big 10 at the top. The Big 10 has 7 bowl-eligible teams (all with records of 7-4 or better) and not a single team in the conference has a losing record in OOC games.
