Unless Shelton's married with kids and needs job security, he'll do fine outside the E. At this point in his young career, money takes a backseat to a career going down the tubes. Edit: All of this is IF he can get out (via release) or if the contract's expiration's coming up (which it will someday).

That gets scrapped, then he gets to be a tag team champion for a month before being de-pushed again, while his partner goes onto a feud with Ric Flair.
