Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 got this from a guy off Gamefaqs who said he went. Looks fairly legit, so here we go. I posted this at the PW.com forums and sent to to the site for them to post sooo here goes. Just got back from Smackdown! in Cincy and WOW!!!! GREAT SHOW!!! I'm going to try and do my best to remember everything. Everything ran together in my head since they taped two shows tonite. First let me Clarify that the UPN special tonite WAS NOT live. They Started taping it at around 7:45 and ended about 8:40. I won't bother going over the results since most people already know what happend since it it was on TV. I'm sure some of the stuff was edited. I hope they made they explosion look and sound better than it actually did. It took Randy Orton forever to start the car, he was getting visibally upset, so I'm sure that was edited. HUGE Eddie chants before the show started. They played a tribute video which got everyone emotional. Only 2 velocity matches... Orlando Jordan def. ??? via Lungblower Mr. Kennedy def. Kid Kash via Green Bay Plunge START OF SMACKDOWN Randy Orton came out to start the show, talked about killing The Undertaker and demanding a World Title match at Armageddon. Orton recieved some good heel heat, with some cheers thrown in. First match of the night was a Tag Team battle royal to determine the Number One contender for the titles. The Teams were L.O.D, The Dicks, Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki, The Mexicools. Paul Londona and Brian Kendrick, and Vita and Nunzio. The Mexicools eliminated The Dicks to win the match. On a side note, the lights went out during this match, all the wrestlers looked confused... should be edited. MNM gave commentary for this match. JBL Interview backstage, Tag Team main event was announced. Interview was stopped because Blood began dripping on the wall. Chris Benoit def. Willam Regal w/ the Crossface. Great match here. Benoit's forehead became bloody from giving Regal constant headbutts, very good, technical bout. Booker T and Sharmel gave commentary. Randy Orton def. Matt Hardy via RKO Good match. Orton won clean after Matt missed a moonsault. After the match The Undertaker's music played and the arena went dark. Randy and Cowboy both tried to get out throught the entrance but an explosion kept them in. Taker was now speaking on the loud speakers. He was talking about how Orton can kill him. Randy tried to get out a side exit but a casket blocked his way. Taker asked if we was afraid of caskets. He tried to get out a back entrance but another explosion kept him in. Taker announce that we was taking Orton straight to hell, Hell In a Cell. Ortion cried in the ring. Backstage segment w/ teddy long and Randy Orton. Randy pleaded his case not to be put in he cell with Taker. Teddy said too bad, and the match was booked for Armageddon. A clock behind them was spinning rapidly. After Orton walked away a chair slid across the floor on it's own. Backstage segment with Simon Dean, interviewed by former Raw Diva search contestant Kristal. It was announced that Simon would be facing the Boogeyman. Simon said he wasn't afraid of the boogey man, he wanted to unveil a new product but when he did it was The Boogeyman's head on a platter. Boogeyman gave his usual weird speech, the match was next. Boogeyman def. Simon dean in a total squash. First let me say the Boogeyman's entrance was rather awesome. He crawled to the ring in a ploom of smoke with red lighting. Once he stood up a fire wall exploded. Simon had to be carried to the ring by security guards because he was so scared. The match went like this... Simon through a power bar the Boogeyman. Boogeyman pulled some worms out of his pocket and started eating them... I'm not making this up. The match ended with what I thought was a botched pump handle slam but I'm not sure, he made it look good enough to make it seem intended. Crowd loved the Boogeyman. Lashley def. Sylvain via dominator. Sylvain actually showed some offense in this match, but eventually Lashley got the better of him and won the match. Big pop for Lashley. Big Show and Kane def. Rey Mysterio and JBL. The ref accidently caught JBL in the eye early in the match so he left. From then on it was a handicap match. REy tried his best, getting 619's on Big show and Kane, but was caught with a double chokeslam attempting a springboard move. Big show and Kane beat on Rey before Batista came out, gave Kane the spinebuster and decked Big Show with the chair. After the match Rey and Batista celebrated heavily, they both danced like Eddie in the ring. Eddie was chanted all night. Batista did his dance thing before he left by the entrance, pyro was crazy. Fantastic shows, Make sure you watch Smackdown! this week, if not just to see the Boogeyman's entrance and worm eating antics. Biggest Pops: Undertaker (By Far) Batista Rey Mysterio Lashley Benoit Boogeyman Biggest Heat: Randy Orton Big Show and Kane JBL Booker T
strummer 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Christ, what was the budget for this show with all the "special effects"? Just more wasted money on stuff that won't help draw a dime.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Wait until they set up Boogeyman vs. Undertaker for WM. THAT will draw hyooge.

strummer 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I hope the main event is building towards a Batista/Rey program. It will probably be filler until Dave fueds with Orton, but Rey deserves a main event angle.
Guest Brian Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Can someone cap that match for me, because I have no intent of watching WWE programming at all?
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Backstage segment w/ teddy long and Randy Orton. Randy pleaded his case not to be put in he cell with Taker. Teddy said too bad, and the match was booked for Armageddon. A clock behind them was spinning rapidly. After Orton walked away a chair slid across the floor on it's own. Aw, geez... fazzle 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 So..I'm confused. Was all that supernatural "creepy" shit supposed to be Taker, or Boogeyman?
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Undertaker vs. The Boogeyman in a supernatural contest! MAKE IT HAPPEN! And the scary part about all this... according to the reporter... the Boogeyman is over.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Also got this report from DVDR. Just getting back from the show the Special wasn't "live" and was taped earlier in the day it was very enjoyable but made me mad: Velocity: *Orlando Jordan defeated some jobber with a version of The Lungblower. Trademark fast paced OJ matchup featuring his brand of innovative offense. *Mr. Kennedy defeated Kid Kash with The Lambeau Leap. Strange choice of a matchup but worth it's hand in cards. Friday Night Smackdown: *Randy Orton promo talking about deading The Undertaker once again and demanding a shot at the World Strap. *The Mexicools (Psicosis and Super Crazy) win a tag team Battle Royal. A fun matchup with lots of cool moves and teamwork. MNM were on commentary and possibly scouting. *Chris Benoit defeated William Regal with The Crippler Crossface. Worse than their usual encounters. Boring and by the numbers but worked well even with the lame hardway juice. *Randy Orton defeated Matt Hardy with the RKO. Possibly the MOTNC and I feel alive and full of hope after seeing this dream match. Afterwards Undertaker spoke over the loudspeaker and used all types of crazy firewalls and caskets to make Orton hear him and fear him. Hell in the Cell is scheduled now. Randy Orton tried to get Teddy Long to stop the match from happening but Teddy declined and spookeriffic stuff happened. *Simon Dean was interviewed by Diva Search loser Kristal about his match against The Boogeyman. Can't miss segment here. Funniest stuff since SNL. *The Boogeyman defeated Simon Dean with The Supernatural Driver Total and complete squash but Mr. Boogey was over and his entrance is like a combo of Kane, Mordecai and Chris Masters all in one. *Lashley defeated Sylvan with the Dominator. Lashley is big and powerful but he doesn't leave anything to the imagination, Sylvan was his usual great self. *WWE World Tag Team champions Big Show and Kane defeated Rey Mysterio and JBL. Ref miscue and Tries as might couldn't help Smackdown in this one. Batista makes the save when things get hectic. Massive celebration for Eddie Guerrero afterwards between the two. Boogeyman... Supernatural Driver... Ok, I may have to like him now.
Guest clockworkraven Report post Posted November 30, 2005 *The Boogeyman defeated Simon Dean with The Supernatural Driver Total and complete squash but Mr. Boogey was over and his entrance is like a combo of Kane, Mordecai and Chris Masters all in one. How long does it take him to actually get in the ring, then? Oh, and Benoit needs to stop busting himself open doing headbutts.

Guest Ransome Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I hope the main event is building towards a Batista/Rey program. It will probably be filler until Dave fueds with Orton, but Rey deserves a main event angle. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If Batista defends the title at Armageddon, I could see it being against Rey, especially if Orton/UT HIAC is gonna receive the main-event slot and most of the buildup. I guess I'll watch Benoit/Regal and the tag battle royale. The rest is definite Wrestlecrap.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 It's sad that I'm actually tempted to watch this, purely for The Boogeyman skit.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I will be watching this solely for Boogeyman eating worms.
Guest JMA Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Were the worms real or fake? I'm guessing that they were fake, but we are talking about a guy (the Boogeyman) that (alledgedly) had his front teeth pulled out to make the gimmick "work."
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 His front teeth were knocked out when he was training and the office encouraged him to not get them fixed. Boogeyman isn't very smart, whoever the fuck he is.
