Dangerous A Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 So yeah, I went to the Universal Life Church, gave them my name and address, and in a day, I got email confirmation that I am and ordained minister of the Universal Life Church. (based in Modesto, CA-home of Scott Peterson) I don't feel much different. Anyone else up for joining me as a "brother or sister of the cloth"? www.ulc.net Click on the tab that says "become ordained" and booyah! I think I'd like to be referred to as Reverend DA from now on.
Spaceman Spiff Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Start condemning people to hell.
Dimensions Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 I AM AN ORDAINED MINISTER OF THE CHURCH OF LIFE and as an atheist I will breathe the other side into the teachings.
Sideburnious Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 So what beliefs does your church allow?
Darthtiki Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 I will only join if I can shoot lightning from my fingers, oh wait that's the Sith or Scientology
Team Angle Pusher Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Cool I can now perform weddings and funerals as Booyah McMichaels. I live in Booyah, Booyah City.
CBright7831 Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 (edited) I'm not questioning anyone's religion (since I'm not really affiliated with anyone) but I've always wondered how athiests celebrate Christmas. Edited December 4, 2005 by CBright7831
Dimensions Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 I'm not questioning anyone's religion (since I'm not really affiliated with anyone) but I've always wondered how athiests celebrate Christmas. I don't know about other atheist but I personally don't celebrate the holiday, just a nice day off.
Guest T®ITEC Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Gifts are exchanged just because it's expected. Then it's lots of being lazy for the day, ah...

Ravenbomb Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 I've been ordained since early 2001, and have since started the Unitde Church of Just Don't Be a Dick.
Richard Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 I got ordained a few years ago. Then I got bored with the whole thing and had their e-mails blocked.
Guest i'll facist YOUR regime! Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Please understand that there is no such thing as "instant online ordination." A computer cannot ordain you. Your request must be reviewed before your ordination can be done legally. You cannot be issued a credential automatically by a computer!
2GOLD Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 I want to join the Church of the very bright light
dubq Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 I'm not questioning anyone's religion (since I'm not really affiliated with anyone) but I've always wondered how athiests celebrate Christmas. We call it X-Mas so that we don't have to celebrate Christmas. It's all about the birth of Santa, baby.
