Steviekick Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I never thought that 3MW was supposed to be black, they didn't do anything to portray themselves that way. They were just thugs that happened to be Samoan and have a fondness for rap music. As opposed to wrestling in a diaper like Rikishi.
Guest Trecko Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I never understood why they were the THREE Minute Warning when it was 2 of them and there's a such thing as a 2 minute warning. But cool. I liked them. If Cena ever went heel I could see a group with him happening, but either way, I hope they put them back together and do their thing....
Hoff Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 They were Three Minute Warning based off of Bischoff's love of giving people three minutes to entertain him. When they inevitably failed, Rosey and Jamal were called on to take whoever was in the ring out. After three minutes.
Guest Ransome Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I don't see any great need for a 3MW return, although I'd prefer Rosey/Jamal to team together rather than the joke team of Rosey/Hurricane. Between both shows right now, WWE would have their best tag team division in five years, if they utilised them.
tekcop Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Wasn't Jamal doing really well in Japan, though? Why'd he want to come back to Heat?

When they inevitably failed, Rosey and Jamal were called on to take whoever was in the ring out. After three minutes. I still don't get why it wasn't 2 minutes, then. There's actual 2 minute warnings in sports, if they wanted to play off that, which I'm guessing they were with the name "3 Minute Warning", they coulda just made it 2 minutes of entertainment before getting attacked by...2 guys. Just made more sense to me. Then again, now remembering him saying "Did I just say...THREEEE MINUTES!?", it would probably sound better. But yeah...=\
Guest Chris Xtreme Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 Three Minute Warning was a medicore tag team during their last tenure on Raw. They only had good finishers and were in a series of bad matches. While their gimmick was cool at first, this quickly wore off when they were exposed as a bland tag team. Rosey has never demonstrated himself to be sucessful in anything outside of a comedy act. Unless Jamal has improved significantly I see no reason to get excited over a Three Minute Warning Reunion.
RavishingRickRudo Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 Looks like a natural storyline against Kane and Big Show. The question is, will it actually be a feud, or will it just be a few encounters topped off with a bunch of chokeslams? It's going to be hard to get the titles off Show and Kane given their build and size, and to me it looks like we'll get a Show/Kane split before the titles are taken off of them. 3MW (hopefully they'll get better names, or perhaps a fired Bischoff as a manager and mouthpiece since it doesn't make sense without him) could realistically take the titles off the two big men, since they are two big men themselves. Rosie vs. Big Show would rule.
Blade2kxx Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 Oh, I have the 3 Minute Warning entrance theme on mp3 if anyone wants it... since it was cool and everything.
Team Angle Pusher Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 WWE.com is an "insiders" website now right, trying to act cool and shit. Then why didn't they report they re-signed Jamal?
Copper Feel Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 WWE.com is an "insiders" website now right, trying to act cool and shit. Then why didn't they report they re-signed Jamal? It probably means that his return will be an angle on t.v.
The Czech Republic Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 WWE.com is an "insiders" website now right, trying to act cool and shit. Then why didn't they report they re-signed Jamal? Don't they alternate every two weeks between insider and Apter mag-levels of kayfabe?
JoeDirt Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 I read on another board a series of news items that seemed to be from the Observer or somewhere. It mentioned that Jamal was signed to be Cena's backup from the street. Anyone read this?
