Why do people on this board hate Scott Keith so much? Sure, a lot of stuff he says you might disagree with, and he doesn't seem to enjoy wrestling very much anymore, but that's not a reason to crucify the guy.

Crucify him? The way you make him sound, he'd fit right in around here!

We still have a lot of holdovers from 2001, who still haven't forgiven him for the Keith/Botter Reign Of Terror, and the whole "shutting down The Smarks and leaving the board for dead" thing upset people as well. That said, it's almost 2006, and I think we can let it go. Thing is, he's not THAT great of a writer any longer, if he ever was.

And yet some people are very insistent that you NOT TALK ABOUT SCOTT KEITH

He's a great writer.

If you like cut and paste jobs of work he's done years ago that doesn't hold up today that is.

I browsed one of his books at Borders once, and I realized I read like 80% of the book on the Internet for free. If that clown can get published, I can

I thought anything he did was laughable?

Why because he's a fat, cottage cheese assed, slobbering troll? Or because he's a know it all, nitwit, full of shit douchebag?

Last time I made a thread on Scott Keith, Spoon locked it and made a new thread making fun of me.

It's bad enough people care about his writing this much, but you started a thread because the dude got hitched. Come on.

I just thought it was funny that the world's strangest-looking man was getting married. Plus, people like to make fun of him here. I thought someone would be inspired to write something funny. But I didn't really have anything specific in mind when I made that thread. It was unfocused, and as such, was deserving of mockery.

It's like that "Death of WCW" book. If I had years worth of Observers, I could write a whole book on wrestling. Even though Scooter hardly included that much insider information, opting instead for his own jaded muses. "HHH was jealous of RVD's pops so he held him down. From my rant........." Hey, bucko, your rants SUCK. And throwing his match reviews out there without any sense of context is quite an odd literary device, to say the least.

Thanks a lot for linking us to a Smackdown spoiler without warning, jackass.

Sorry, didn't think. No need to be rude about it though.

Sorry, I've had a shitty day. I apologize.

No problem.

Cheers.

Scott Keith is the deadbeat dad of the TSM forums.

Post of the week.

Benoit to TNA is a pipe dream at this point until he actually signs on a contract's dotted line and is in a TNA ring wrestling.

Who was the poor 'woman' he impregnated?

Dames...?

Unlike Dames, Sean Shannon could actually nuture some guy's seed (no, seriously, he could). Him, SKeith and Don Becker had like a love triangle or something waaaaay back when.

Ah.

See, now I totally lost track of what his/her crazy ass is now.

I'd be more suprised if you were keeping track.

Hey, it's not every day a wannabe tranny goes crazy like Shannon did years ago. His breakdown was amazing.

I never really saw Scott Keith post much in the "old days" (despite being around at the time). Was he really THAT bad?

I agree. Though I wouldn't track him around.

How many people are actually around from that period in time?

It'd be hard to tell--most of them probably have different names now.

Well, we should determine it by seeing how many people remember obscure shit.

Like the Italians.

Or the short-lived IRC room.

Or how awesome the original Flaming Folder was.

Edit: I most def. remember Black Lushus being around.
