NYU Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 ....but instead, I'm here and I haven't cracked open a book yet. This can only lead to good, I'm sure. Discuss.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Are the finals essay questions?...
NYU Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Nope. Intro to Political Science. Cumulative from the beginning of the semester. 60 multiple choice and something around 10 or so short answers. Drugs and Psychology. Cumulative from the beginning of the semester. 80 multiple choice questions. Unfortunately, lots of memorization with both. The intro class is a killer simply because of the professor teaching it.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Multiple choice? That's my kind of test.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 not if it's the kind where you shade in the box next to the letter.
The Czech Republic Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I ace tests, I just don't do homework
bob_barron Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I was going to see Goblet of Fire for the 4th time, but decided to stay in and study. I feel so smart.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Posts like that make me wonder at times whether bob has been a gimmick this whole time.
bob_barron Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 No, it's true. My media ethics exam is gonna be a bitch, and I haven't done much studying. Tomorrow I'm watching two football games and going to the movies, so I had to find a time to study.
Sideburnious Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 I've got 4 essays and a script to hand in over the next week, one of those essays was supposed to be handed in about 3 weeks ago. Im gonna have to start a few of them today.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Well, let us know how you do, NYU...
Adam Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 I'm currently in the middle of four and a half months off. I win, although I have no money.
NYU Posted December 11, 2005 Author Report Posted December 11, 2005 So last night, I spent a few hours in the library skimming my Poli Sci textbook I barely cracked open the whole semester. And on a Saturday night, the library was packed with other people trying to desperately cram stuff into their heads. Man, what a bunch of nerds they all are. I still feel like I really haven't done much of anything yet though.
bob_barron Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 media ethics oxymoron Yea, but my teacher's a commy which makes the class fun
tekcop Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 By Tuesday I have an ethics essay final, a philosophy essay final, psychology portfolio, and an English Comp 1 research paper due. I also have my pysch and English finals Tuesday. Good fun.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 No, it's true. My media ethics exam is gonna be a bitch, and I haven't done much studying. Tomorrow I'm watching two football games and going to the movies, so I had to find a time to study. It was actually more in reference to the Harry Potter thing.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 I'm going for the elusive 4.0 this semester. I decided that not going to class throughout college and getting a pedestrian GPA has sort of worn down my confidence, and I needed a boost. So, I took the hardest schedule of classes I could muster (pretty damn hard) and gave it a go -- right now, I'm on pace for the 4.0. Finals should be fun, though. I've spent all weekend studying for my first two finals, which included about 400 pages worth of material. The first exam is tomorrow at 12, and I just finished studying for it. Should be an A in the making.

I love the Potter movies.
NYU Posted December 13, 2005 Author Report Posted December 13, 2005 Fuck. I'm lucky if I walk away from that Poli Sci final with a B. I did decent with the multiple choice questions, but the short answers were a killer.

NYU Posted May 13, 2006 Author Report Posted May 13, 2006 Well, I really shot myself in the foot this weekend. An entire semester of Political Psychology. Four months to read what must be a thousand pages of political science articles. Never did it. Four months to take notes in class on what he talked about. I drew pictures. Now, I have a final on Tuesday, and I'm sitting here trying to desperately skim through each article and write down the most important facts. With the final on Tuesday. And a research term paper for history due Monday morning as well. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
yankovic fan Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I was trying to do a research paper for French History and this smitten female called me to bitch for an hour. I finished at 4 am when it was due at 1:30 pm and then a final at 3:30 pm. Still no grade on the paper and I made a 69.75% on the exam bringing my gpa for that class down to a B
Ravenbomb Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I took my last final for the semester today (although I start my next semester Monday, so I gets no time off yet). Hopefully I did good enough to pull a C at least
Slayer Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Hey NYU, it's politics The concept of "winging it" has never been more apparent
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 What's the point of even attending or paying for a class that you don't even pay the slightest bit of attention to and set yourself up in the worst way to fail it?
NYU Posted May 13, 2006 Author Report Posted May 13, 2006 It's a required class that takes attendance.
