Guest Teckneek Report post Posted December 15, 2005 I know it doesn't make sense from a storyline standpoint, but WWE has always had holes in their storylines. I think JR might be the next G.M. Thoughts, anyone???
Si82 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Seeing as how it doesn't make sense it therefore fits "WWE Logic" and could very well happen. Although I hope it doesn't. I was sick of J.R. and I'm glad he's gone. Granted he should have left in a better way but don't bring him back.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 I thought the new gm was going to be a fatter, even more annoying guy...

daileyxplanet 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Vince pretty much gave it away on Monday, it's DUSTY RHODES. Get over it.

Cowboy Battlenuts 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 I can see it now, Cena wins Vince over, he let's Cena pick the new GM, all seems well, boomer sooner hits and Vince looks like he's seen a ghost, Jr comes out, and throws a punch at Vince, it doesn't connect, but it doesn't have to, because a big zap cloud with the word slobberknocker comes on the screen batman style right when it happens. I have other dreams about the robbers from home alone too, but it's far more eventful.
jester 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Personally, I hope they don't blow this off so quickly. I think first, they should have a match for the number one contendership for the title of General Manager. No wait, a TOURNAMENT to determine the number one contender for the title of General Manager. We need at least 40 minutes minimum on Raw for this per week. Twenty for the promos, twenty for the matches. They blowoff for this angle should occur at one of the big PPVs, like Wrestlemania or Summer Slam, and it should be a steel cage match. Maybe even the Elimination Chamber. And, since we haven't had an announcer feud for almost five minutes, we do the same thing a month later, this time with the announcer jobs. That feud will end with an I Quit match. Next, I want to see a big feud over who gets to be the Vice President of Corporate Communications, with an iron man match blowoff. And finally, we also do a big feud around the ring crew, and who gets to sweep up after the show. Afterall, we don't care about angles about who holds those stupid gold belt things. The real money is in the management feuds. I don't think sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, do you?

This might actually work, given the number of legends on contract. Jake "The Snake" Roberts would make a great GM. He would slur his words and give title shots in exchange for booze. Guest King TelFie Report post Posted December 16, 2005 I like the idea of either Bret Hart or Dusty Rhodes being GM. Bret is highly unlikely to happen, but Dusty would be great. But since they hinted at him being GM last week, I guess he won't be and WWE will swerve us once again. Possible GMs (even slim chances): -Steve Austin -Bret Hart -Jim Ross -Ted Dibiase -Candice Michelle !!! -Shane McMahon -Stephanie -Paul Heyman
Creepy Crawl 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Its looking like its gonna be Dusty , but you never know with WWE logic . It may end up being Mae Young and Mark Henrys hand . JR wouldnt be bad , but him constantly being a face GM would get old . Now an evil pissed off Jr could be entertaining . lol .
Guest JMA Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Doesn't Vince have a problem with JR appearing on TV, because of his condition? Wasn't that one of the reasons they removed him from PBP? If that is true then I don't see Vince giving him a role with even more screen time.

Guest Amy Ace Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Seeing as they kicked him off the broadcast team cuz Vince thinks he looks too old (even tho Lawlers actually older), I doubt they'd make him gm.
normam 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 i still think its gonna be hayman. I know this might sound stupid but what about john coachman?
daileyxplanet 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Now an evil pissed off Jr could be entertaining . lol . Like when JR returned as a heel and had his own commentary table built next to Cole and Lawler's? It would be good merely for humor's sake.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Meltz says it's looking like it's going to be Dusty. Damn, I was hoping for Dusty on RAW commentary.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 No no no no NO. Everyone's missing the TRUE choice for GM. The one that will swerve us all, like Eric Bischoff did before. The NEW Raw GM will be none other than... BRUNO SAMMARTINO! ...or Bob Backlund. I'd LOVE to see Backlund as GM.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 I'm pulling for Kane. "Double-cross the Big Show, will you, Triple H? Well that's just fine, because tonight...you'll be facing...ME!!!" *pyros*

Hoff 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Wait, wasn't the "entire McMahon family" supposedly back in power? And weren't they heels? Why doesn't Vince just give it to Linda? That'd sure cause marks and smarks alike some anger...

LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 My Pick? You Guessed it I think everyone and their mother knows it is going to be Frank Stallone... where's the surprise in that? I'm laughing at WWE.com again. Someone mentioned Luna Vachon and Kurrgan as co-GMs. I think my life has been emptier with a lack of Kurrgan.
