Okay, now that was pretty funny. Good ol' Mel.

Movie looks pretty decent, as well.

I couldn't see it, the part with Mel was cut off

It's there, I'll get a screencap of it.

So does he look like Bob Ross or Micheal Landon's partner on Highway to Heaven

Cruise by far.

Atleast Mel's religion makes sense.

True, by Mel is one minute from ripping off all his clothes and running down the street covering in dog shit screaming, "THE POWER IS INSIDE OF ME! REPENT!"

Both have equally gone bye bye.

Here's a rather interesting article from TIME.com about this film, giving more insight into what its actually about.

Sounds like it might be worth watching. At the very least the visuals should be spectacular.

By the way, Gibson drops an anti-bush comment out of nowhere, which raised an eyebrow considering how the christian right seemed to embrace him over Passion.

Oh I'm sorry, here it is again. Didn't feel like having it take up space in my photobucket account.

Saw this tonight. It was actually really good. Less "pretentious" than I expected for some reason, actually. It's mostly an action-thriller movie, A well-made chase movie.

Lots of gore (but not as much as it was hyped up to have, it's really not worse than your average "Saw" film), the entire 3rd act is, in a way, very Predator-ish. Jungle chases, jungle hunts, badass killing, that sort of thing. I liked it.

The movie isn't even about the Mayans except in some vague under-current way. It's really this one dude escaping and fighting his way back to his wife and kid.
