Special K Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Because with Boldin, and Fitz, and Edge... we'll probably still find a way to go 4-12. If Edge can pick up 4+ yards a carry, the Arizona offense is going to be fearsome.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Because with Boldin, and Fitz, and Edge... we'll probably still find a way to go 4-12. If Edge can pick up 4+ yards a carry, the Arizona offense is going to be fearsome. He won't average that if his offensive line doesn't block for him.
Special K Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Well, that's the rub, isn't it? I didn't mean to insinuate that he WOULd. Is Edge talented enough to get 4+ yds a carry with that line? I'm interested to see.
Red Baron Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Hawks signed Julian Peterson to a 7/54 million contract to bolster the defence. Peterson and Taputu on linebackers. I don't think there's going to be a team that'll rush over 100 yards against Seattle this year with those two linebackers there.
MrRant Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Don't shortchange Hill back there too. I hope Peterson can stay healthy though...
Red Baron Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Forgot about Hill. I wish Seattle can pick up a good safety just to help Boulware out.
Special K Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 FUCK YEAH. If he stays healthy, the Seahawks can take the NFC again. FUCK yeah. I'll massage his achilles tendon with baby oil if that's what it takes.

Arizona's Line isn't bad but injurys hurt them last year, hopefully they'll draft Winston Justice.
Special K Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Aren't they the biggest line in the NFL? I heard that somewhere.
Boon Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 WEEI sports radio in Boston is reporting that Adam Vinatieri has agreed to terms with the Indiannapolis Colts.
Guest Vitamin X Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Oh, now that's just nasty. On the other hand, Indianapolis probably overpaid like a motherfucker for that. Green Bay was willing to sign him, but the word was that he was too pricey.
therealworldschampion Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Well at least the Colts have a clutch player now...
Guest Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 He's going to miss a game tying field goal in the playoffs.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 I think the room is spinning for the entire New England area. How do you let Vinateri leave like that?
sfaJack Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 What the hell happened to the Cowboys in the Vinatieri sweepstakes? They were supposed to be one of the players in the market for him and...nothing. Not even one of the finalists for him. Given, they would have had to overpay for him but a good kicker last season would have resulted in at least an 11-5 record. So it might have been worth it.
Cartman Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Oh well. Can't say i'm happy about this. I can accept the Pats letting Adam go and I don't have any problem with that...but signing with the Colts is just not good. Good for him, bad for the way I feel about him. I love what he did and we wouldnt have won 3 titles without him but I have to hate him from this point on, just because of me deep unheralded hatred for anything Colts.
Special K Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Who's running for the Colts next season? A draft pick?
2GOLD Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Who's running for the Colts next season? A draft pick? Dominic Rhodes is still there isn't he? I'm more interested in who is kicking next year for New England. I'm hoping it's not Mike Vanderjagt, I really dislike that guy.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Yeah one article on sportsline said that the Colts are prepared to go with Dominic Rhodes and that they MIGHT draft someone like Laurence Maroney or something like that.
The Czech Republic Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 WEEI sports radio in Boston is reporting that Adam Vinatieri has agreed to terms with the Indiannapolis Colts. He's on the next flight out to the Island Of Reviled Former Boston Sports Stars. Say hi to Johnny and Lawyer!

I wish Adam the best of luck, even if it is in Indy.

I'm just sad to see him go. He's the best kicker in the game, I think, and he's going to be ridiculous in a dome.
Brett Favre Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Three way trade, the Falcons get Abraham and two future picks from the Broncos, the Broncos get the Falcons 15th overall pick, and the Jets get the Broncos 29th overall pick.
Guest Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I think the Jets should have used Abraham as a piece to try and move up. I don't like Abraham very much anyway, so I guess the Jets did ok.
Brett Favre Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 They might use that extra first to move up, if they decide to move up. Tim Dwight also signed with the Jets.
Grenouille Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I love WEEI, it’s like listening to a never ending funeral speech. We still have the Belichick apologists calling in spouting their in Bill we trust crap, but I don’t understand what the hell, Bill, Pioli, and the Krafts are doing this off season. Of course we have the fun people with "connections" who now want to discredit Vinatieri. Some guy called in to say that his friend goes to the same chiropractor and that Vinatieri's back is beyond repair. You really have to love Boston talk radio sometimes.
Guest Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 That's why I hate sports talk radio, is because of the apologists that will go to any length to defend the team and assholes that have no idea of what they're talking about. People like that piss me off so much.
The Czech Republic Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Does Boon deny that Boston sports fans turn on their players hard and fast the second they leave town.
Angle-plex Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 When Lawyer Milloy left, everyone I know was pissed at the Pats and thought they made a huge mistake. Nobody I know hates Milloy.

When Lawyer Milloy was left, everyone I know was pissed at the Pats and thought they made a huge mistake. Nobody I know hates Milloy. Thank you.
