iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Actually, I'm not so sure they get by Carolina next week. The Panthers have the playoff experience, and if Alexander has any lingering effects from the concussion, they'll have no problem shutting him down.

I don't like the Seahawks for unexplained reason. I don't outright hate the team I just prefer that they don't win and I don't have to watch them. I get bored watching their games and lose interest anytime I see them on the field. It's just one of those things.

Special K 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Yay! Only a few heart attacks that game. Let's go Bears! Because the Panthers are scary.
Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 I'm amazed Seattle pulled that out. I honestly thought they were fucked after all the shit happened. I think Matt just proved he isn't just Shaun's little buddy. He IS a great QB, and can carry the team if needed. Great preformence from him in my eyes. Slayer 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Looking at Plummer's beard reminds me... whatever happened to the Pats playoff beards? I remember them making a fairly big deal about guys like Brady and Vinny having them during their first SB run but they didn't really do it for the later two SB runs

You make it sound like your 100% sure Carolina will win in Soliders Field againest the best defense I've seen since Tampa won the superbowl? Remember the Bears had their best defensive game of the season againest Carolina, and now they have a better quarterback back in Rex Grossman. Lovie Smith will have his team prepared for tomorrow, Bears will win. New England and Denver I think is gonna be a very good game, I think New England is gonna win this 1 though. teke184 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 If the Bears lose tomorrow, I'll be cheering for the Seahawks to win the NFC. One of my old HS teammates plays for the Seahawks as a kick returner / DB. Since he was a late pickup for them, after he got released from New Orleans as part of the last cut there right after Katrina, I'd really like him to get a Super Bowl ring. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Am I the only Pats fan who has noticed the Patriots offense has looked like jack shit in almost first half this season and like an entirely different unit in the second half? The difference seems to be the defense isn't that bad this time. And no, the above comment isn't a shot at the Denver defense because they are VERY good, but the Pats O has done this almost every game this year it seems. Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 shades of the 2003 defense there. Offense is going to be backed up again though

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Yeah, that was a pretty horrible interference call.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Terrible call there just giving Denver a TD. I mean if running next to the receiver and grazing against him while you look for the ball isn't allowed, why even have a defense out there? Why not just let the QBs and receivers play catch 6 on 0? 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Ah well, only down four after a horrible call is better than being down the 10 they could be down.

naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Are there any worse officials in sports than the bunch of buffoons in the NFL these days? The Pats are trying to give this game away right now.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Jesus people, enough with excuses. The refs arent dropping the balls for NE and that interference call was alot more than just 'a graze'.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Jesus people, enough with excuses. The refs arent dropping the balls for NE and that interference call was alot more than just 'a graze'. Lelie pushed off and Denver gets a 39 yard penalty and a gift TD. How is that an excuse when it's a simple fact supported by video evidence?
