Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 I got 22. 3 of those reference sports popular outside of the US (I didn't get those 3). My correct answers: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 32, 33. Some of those you'll kick yourself afterwards for not getting (at least I did). The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 I got 30... or 29 at least. I wasn't sure if it was "6 bowls to an over in cricket", since it wouldn't turn green.
Ced 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 I threw in the towel once I got my 19. I feel dumb now looking up the answers of the ones I missed.

The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 It doesn't except the 1000 Y in a M answer, nor the 23 P of C in the HB answer...which kind of pissed me off. I don't know what kind of spelling they want me to use, cause i tried damn near everything.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 Millennium 2 n's.. It helps that I've seen something like this before but its not the same ones although a few are the same. I managed to get all but 14, 17, 28 and 30. After messing with it for few minutes, I gave up. I guess Im a genius though. YAY for being a genius, although I never really could spell that well which is proven in not being able to spell millennium.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 I got 26, but I contend I should have 27 because there can be 13 of ANYTHING in a B D. That's B S, is what it is. I've never heard of 33. Is that a saying? What does it mean?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 I could have SWORN it's 16 men on a dead man's chest and not 15. I didn't get the religious ones, I booted those. All of em. And 13 is unlucky for some? Fuck you Mensa.

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 Believe it or not, this type of test can be a good estimate of intelligence (if you excuse the cultural bias). People that did well on this type of test are likely those who are gifted with verbal ability and linguistic pattern recognition. This sort of assessment would discriminate against those with non-linguistic pattern recognition (like solving jigsaw puzzles) and spatial intelligence (like the ability to use a map or see hidden figures in a drawing). I've taken this test before, so my results would be invalid. Someone please explain how matching one letter abbreviations with various units of measurement measures intelligence? You can't, because it doesn't. This test is bullshit.

What does it mean? 13 loaves in a bakers dozen I got 30. No, I got it, I checked the answers. What I'm saying it that a baker's dozen, as I have always heard it, is 13 of anything, not just loaves of bread. The most common thing I heard it applied to was donuts, anyway. F it, I'm telling people I got 27. I am an arrogant bastard.
