milliondollarchamp Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 I've always wondered who people though was the greatest worker in wrestling, but i know i would get a lot of opinions, and some based soley on gimmicks. This vote is to narrow down who is the greatest worker that has been in the buisiness to a general consensus. Eliminations will be based on their ability in the ring, not their character, gimmick or how successful they have been such as titles or whatever. This post is to gather peoples opinions of who should be in the vote, I'm wanting at least 50, but if theres more, so be it, but I want a general consensus. I will now list some obvious ones, please add more. (note: I'm not ranking them like this, just listing) 1. Bret Hart 2. Chris Benoit 3. Lance Storm 4. Chris Jericho 5. Ted Dibiase 6. Guest hasbeen Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 I don't see how I could have forgotten your first three. And wrestling bear was a dumb joke, of course, but I did get to see at least one version of it a few times. Believe me, he got a pop.

World's Worst Man Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 There's probably no point in doing a world-wide list, when it's doubtful that most of the people who will be involved haven't seen enough of the wrestlers who would generally be around the top 10-15. A Canada/US list might be a better idea.
Guest Ransome Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 There's probably no point in doing a world-wide list, when it's doubtful that most of the people who will be involved haven't seen enough of the wrestlers who would generally be around the top 10-15. A Canada/US list might be a better idea. And similarly, it's too hard to accurately compile a greatest workers "of all time" list. It would be smarter to limit it to, say, the greatest workers from 1984-present, since the choices made by posters here show that people clearly haven't seen enough of wrestling pre-1980 to judge the greatest workers from beyond that timeframe.

A Canada/US list might be a better idea. * I think the inherent problem in limiting the list in that way is that many Canadian/US workers would be included on the basis of the inclusion of their work in Japan. Such that a Dynamite Kid/Hansen/Williams/Destroyer may get included in a spot higher than his strictly US/Canada work would put him because of the strength of his work in outside of the areas included for consideration.
