Why'd they change Randy Ortan's new theme back to his old one?

Does anyone know why WWE switched Randy Ortan's theme back to his old one? His new one was alot better and had a better titantron along with it too. What gives?

I haven't been watching SD! so I'm not too sure what theme you're talkin bout. Are you talkin about his HEY song by Mercy Drive? If so, I believe there was an issue Mercy drive had with WWE concerning not getting what was promised to them. So maybe there was an issue with that. However, if there was a theme after that then I dunno and disregard.

I think they were just trying to promote the upcoming WWE CD "Reckless Intent". His new theme is on that cd so they'll probably start using it normally after the album is released.

Seriously though, I'm glad he went back to his old "Burn In My Light" music. He used this really generic heavy metal music for 2-3 weeks that was just awful and didn't fit him at all.

 

I do believe the heavy metal version is still up on his WWE.Com titantron, so you can go check it out before it gets replaced.

The "Hey" theme worked after he was tossed from Evolution, since it had the "Hey, Hey, nothing you can say is gonna change what you've done to me." Thing is, now he's back to being an asshole heel, so it really doesn't fit.

As a face Randy Orton's music is horrible but as a heel it works perfectly because it's just so annoying. It is so annoying that it's actually good in a "B" movie kind of way so you don't change the channel when it's on.

I think the absolute last thing they need to do with Orton is start tinkering with his music. Hell, I don't think anyone in the middle of a big push needs their music drastically changed. It hurts the initial reaction when they come out. (Insert Orton heat joke here)

 

But I am serious about that. Don't change someone's music in the middle of a title push. Its the main thing fans associate with the wrestler, besides the finisher.

They did that with Cena last year, he had the popular intro of "Thugnomics" and two weeks before WM, he debuted "My Time is Now" which has the more dramatic opener and fans were still not used to it by Mania time.
