I've had my HDTV for a little under 2 years (hard for me to believe even) but I've been like this for at least 10 years, if not even longer.

I called earlier before I left for work and got a voicemail box, however it was just the standard "you have reached (insert phone number here)'s voicemail" so I know no more now than I did before.

 

2 additional things:

 

A) Im the proud owner of a cell phone now (cheap prepaid one though from T-Mobile) after I won $100 bucks last night at a Carnival and used the money to buy one and a card for it.

 

B) Someone told me about a speed dating thing, which normally wouldn't interest me, however its run at a place called the Dinner Company which cooks meals for people who want home cooked style food but don't have time to cook it. Basically instead of sitting and talking to everyone, they run people through stations so they can cook their own meals and talk at the same time with the others. Sounds sorta interesting..I just hope they have another one next month.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you won't excel at speed dating. Your almost complete reluctance to look a woman in the eye and talk essentially means you'll probably stutter out something like "M-m-m-m-m-my name is Ma-a-a-a-a-r-v-v-v-v-in" before you need to switch stations. Stop wasting your money just to practice talking to women. It's not that hard, but you WILL be rejected because you have no confidence and you probably stink of desperation so until you're prepared to have the ego slapped around some more I'd advise not trying to pick up chicks until you're prepared for what actually happens and not that "you'll never know 'til you try" bullshit. Whenever someone says that just think about the fact that you wouldn't walk through a bad neighborhood, look for a gangbanger type and insult his mother, even though I'm guessing you've never tried that. There are simply some things that just don't "feel" right, and this whole Heaven scenario is one of them.

 

Concentrate on women you see in the flesh first and foremost. Once you're comfortable with that, then worry about fringe stuff like speed dating or online dating sites where you need to actually have some proficiency with the ladies to stand out from the multitude of losers out there.

Well first of all, it'd be more like "M-m-m-m-m-my name is Ma-a-a-a-a-th-h-ew" but honestly, its cooking in a kitchen which would make me more comfortable than anywhere else I could be since I spend a good deal of my time now in a kitchen cooking..thats why it appeals to me.

I was all for the speed dating thing til I had a really bad dream last night..I dont remember all of it, but I do remember cutting one of the girls fingers off and spilling a pot of hot water on another and then I got kicked out and as I was leaving some guy yelled "What the fuck is wrong with you?".

 

So yeah..I dont know where that came from (I've never had an accident in a kitchen in 6 years between work and school, *knock on wood*) but thats probably a nice visual of what would probably happen.

 

Oh, and Im not too sure how I feel about this at the moment, but I went ahead and deleted all of the emails I had from Heaven and blocked her email. I still have her phone number on a piece of paper but I cant find it, although when I do im throwing it in the trash. I dont know why I did it either, I just sorta did.
