Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 After watching Raw, I think they may pull the trigger on another McMahon/Helmsley era at WM. I think the way HHH and Vince did their thing at the end, I'm convinced the heat that was there will be enough to jump start this. They've already forshadowed stuff with HHH hanging with Vince and teaming with Shane and at WM, they are going to finally come out in storyline with HHH being Steph's baby daddy and being in with the McMahon family since it plays off of real life, which the McMahon's love doing. Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Like I said in a previous thread, do not be shocked at all if the final shot at Mania is Vince/Steph/HHH/Shane with their arms raised over a fallen Cena and possibly Michaels. Say hello to your new tag champs Vince and Shane, kids.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I'm pretty sure Victoria just forgot the spot and Trish ducked a non-existant clothesline. Meh. It looked retarded, but it happens I guess. Pity that it was Victoria and Trish, though.

This is how I see the scenario running: Shawn goes over in the SF HHH beats Cena with McMahon interference HHH and McMahon(s) beat down Cena Shawn makes the save Shawn gets beat down for his trouble McMahon-Helmsley Era 2k6 begins, however they will probably have a new stable name of like the Royal Family in order to fit with the KOK gimmick

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted March 28, 2006 10 pages? That's a forum low and a personal high for guys like me who want to see Mania crash and burn. Seriously. I mean, even when Raw was in its sucky stages before, people like DH will still dig and find the positives, and we'd have 20 pages of smarky comments. This is one of the weakest threads ever, and it's the week before WM. Not good. And yes, Vince is dying soon. I'm amazed he hasn't yet. Just a really uneasy feeling watching him do the "strength contests" with Cena. I was sure something bad would happen to him.

And by best I mean youngest & most physically fit. If he blows a gasket and dies at WM, think they'll stop the show?

Wrestlefreak 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2006 On Raw they said that girl from Destiny's Child would be singing "America the Beautiful" Why does the WWE insist on having somebody sing that song at every Mania since the Iraq war. It pisses me off! WWE is WAY too patriotic! They've been having celebrities sing "America the Beautiful" for YEARS, my friend, way before Iraq. Aretha Franklin sung it at WrestleMania III. OK, Maybe not just since the war, but its still damn annoying!!

Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2006 Hulk probrably has something to do with it. He has a clause in his contract that he is to be the highest paid or tied for hightest paid on a card if he appears. They probrably are keeping Hogan off WM as a cost cutting measure since him just appearing and not in a money drawing match will cost them more than the trouble he's worth. Since Brooke has Hulk attached to the hip, that probrably went out the window.

I know the WWE has a large American audience, but what about the rest of us, who quite frankly don't want to sit through it! I know I can just ignore it, but why should I have to?! You are just a few posts away from being the new fanofcoils. WWE is based in America. The PPV, their biggest show of the year, is taking place in America. Most of the people who work in the company are American. Much of the WWE fanbase livein America. What exactly do you not get? They probrably are keeping Hogan off WM as a cost cutting measure since him just appearing and not in a money drawing match will cost them more than the trouble he's worth. I fully expect Hogan to be on the show, more than likely just doing something like beating up The Spirit Squad (well, either him or Austin). If Hogan doesn't have an actual match, and just does something like that, do you know how much they'd still have to pay him? Is it still the same as if he had an actual match? Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2006 Not sure if he gets that highest paid deal if he just appears vs having an scheduled match. I know he's not slated to appear past saturday, but that could just be because they want a surprise or two for WM.

I know he's not slated to appear past saturday, but that could just be because they want a surprise or two for WM. Hogan has to wrestle for the pay deal thing to take effect. I'm expecting some sort of Austin/Hogan confrontation, maybe MnM or SS interupt and Hogan/Austin beat them up with dual Stunner/Leg drops and Austin drinks beer and Hogan poses, creating one ungodly pop combo. They use the confrontation to plant the seeds for the Hogan/Austin match at WM23 in Detroit, which I am sure they still have hopes for.
