Down to the wire the 9 and 10 "seeds". I loved seeing D. Howard have such a huge game too. He's one of my favorite's in the league. True class act and on the road to superstardom. I definately think he has been way underrated thus far, but I think he may be taking a road similar to Bosh/Amare Stoudemire, where they really get hyped come Year 3. It was nice because I enjoyed that game, then flipped over on the League Pass to catch the end of that Pacers/Bobcats game. For some reason, I'd rather see Utah play detroit than any of these East teams, cus at least with the Jazz there's something to let you doubt Detroit being able to roll through them like a train. So if someone could clarify this for me, I'd appreciate it. Bulls have tie-breaker #3, they have six more conference wins than the Sixers The Magic can only make the playoffs if there is a three way tie between them, the sixers and the Bulls. They would have a better record in head to head games. The Magic must go 2-0, Bulls 0-3, Phildelphia 1-1 for that to happen, any other result and the Magic are out. They can do really good with one of the higher picks and year 3 of Dwight Howard. Orlando could be REALLY strong next year, if things fall into place for them. They won't beat San Antonio, but the Lakers can beat Phoenix. Kobe just has to play like Kobe, and the Lakers need some kind of contribution from Lamar Odom. It's possible. No blowouts and all the games will be decided in the final 5 minutes. The Lakers are going to have to run with the Suns unless they put Kobe or Odom on Marion. Odom can't stick Marion, but Odom's length can hinder him. I wouldn't be shocked if Kobe defended Nash late in every game. If the Suns win the series, it wouldn't bother me. I respect them. They finally win one when Nash doesn't play and all of a sudden they are going to take them in the playoffs? They don't stand a chance in this series. Yes I am saying that with this much confidence. They don't stand a single chance of beating the Suns in this series unless all of the newcomers choke, and the lakers would be having the same problem there. I think that means a lot, as does LA's ability to win at home. I'd pick the Lakers if they got blown out by 20 today. If the Lakers fall into the 8 seed, they'll lose in 5 to the Spurs. This is probably the only first round matchup in the west I am sure about the outcome. The Lakers can't beat the suns once for two years and all of a sudden they are going to beat them 4 times in 7 games?
