I'm sure nobody else saw it, but damn, Doug Jones was awesome on "Fear Itself" tonight.

yes, he was. i love that spindly thing he does with his inhumanly long fingers. he would make a badass guitar player. the whole episode last night was pretty good in an "oh my god did they really show that on network TV?" kind of way. mary harron's last week was kind of legit good.

So Shang Tsung is Yamcha? FINISH HIM!

(Yes I know it's not the same actor)

I'm a huge Dragonball mark. I've spent literally thousands of dollars on the manga, DVDs, video games, etc. I own all but the last few dvds from back when they only put 3-4 (almost always 3) epsidoes on a disc and sold them individually, as well as all the season sets, so I've been double dipped to death. I own almost all of the video games, some on multiple consoles. However, I am staying the FUCK away from this movie.

I was just watching Wheel of Fortune, and one guy attempted to solve three of the puzzles. He got ALL THREE wrong. WHAT AN IDIOT.

In case anyone is wondering, he guessed:

ELEVATOR TRAIN PLATFORM instead of ELEVATED TRAIN PLATFORM,

DANGLING ON AIR JORDAN instead of DANCING ON AIR JORDAN, and

BUTTERSCOTCH CANDIES instead of BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES.

God I hate stupid people that get on game shows.

Heh.

Bought the US Spaced DVD. Fucking amazing. Easily one of my favourite shows of all time.

Wow, did they actually make that?

To be fair, a lot of people might've said "candies" instead of "cookies" in that spot.

Speaking of Wheel of Fortune, is it just me, or does it seem like black women always fuck up on that show (or any other game show for that matter)?

Yeah but he's talking about the Region 1 release of the UK Series. They shot a pilot for the American remake but it didn't get picked up (Thank God).

Ah right. Thank God.

And yes, Spaced is awesome. Late nights on a friday haven't quite been the same since 2000.

The fact that "Rolling Thunder" isn't on DVD yet is a travesty.

Is anyone looking forward to the upcoming DVD release of Scorpion King 2 starring Randy Couture? I know I'm not.

Also, quite the shame about Christine Applegate's battle with breast cancer.

Is he playing the same role as Rock did? I had no idea they were even going to do a Scorpion King sequel at all.

I think he's playing the villain. Some ex Power Ranger plays Scorps (and not someone cool like Austin St. John or Walter whoever).

Edit:

Michael Copon (Power Rangers: Time Force) as the young Mathayus.[1] Canadian actress/singer Karen David appears as the lead heroine, Layla.[4] Randy Couture appears in the movie as the lead villain, Sargon.

I went to the movies tonight and for some odd reason, "Bottle Shock" was being premiered there (in Southampton, NY). Bill Pullman, Alan Rickman and Eliza Dushku were in attendance, along with other actors I didn't really know. Being the Whedon mark I am, I HAD to say something to Dushku about either Buffy or Dollhouse. So I just told her I was pumped for her new show and she gave me an enthusiastic "Thank You."

Good times.

Yeah no doubt...be a damn shame to lose him due to something other than old age/natural causes...be a shame to lose him AT ALL...but you know what I mean.

The Serial Pillest must be stepping up his game and targeting Dark Knight stars...first he kills off Heath Ledger, now he's sabotaging Morgan Freeman...he's probably responsible for Bale's recent arrest as well. Somebody better check on Aaron Eckhart, quick!

The Pillest better not go after Gary Oldman, cause Gary will fuck 'em up.

Hope Morgan ends up ok, guy is an amazing actor and he's got a few more great performances in him.

Also, Indy 4 is further proof that neither Spielberg nor Lucas should be allowed to do another film for as long as they live. That god damn thing was horrible. I actually thought about asking for a refund at a dollar theater.

Yes, I nominated it as the worst film of 2008. Absolutely terrible.

Meet Dave says hello.

Meet Dave was expected to be terrible. That is why I never understood those awards. It's not like MEET DAVE failed to live up to expectations, I don't know anyone who expected it to be hilarious.

Indy? Yeah, some expectations we'd get something. Instead we got

Indiana Jones meets Close Encounters of the Third Kind with special guest appearances by Tarzan and the monkeys from Jumanji

!

Could anybody please help me to identify a movie that I remember catching part of on tv in a hotel room a few years ago? I think it was made at some point during the 1970's. Basically, the Devil is a man with the name of 'George' who is appearing in human form to test whether this particular man should go to Heaven or Hell, or something like that. I might be slightly iffy about the details. Oh, I'm pretty sure that it was an English film as well. Cheers in advance.

I bought the DVD box set for cheap at Wal-Mart and thought, "Wow, these are awesome, even Temple of Doom! No wonder people hated Indy IV". I had seen most of Raiders long (and I mean LONG) ago and only remembered the guy getting cut up in a propeller (and I actually thought this occurred in a different movie).
