Celeb kids don't stand a chance of getting a normal name. I guess being really really rich has to make up for it

The Famous Jett Jackson wasn't really really rich and I didn't hear him complaining about his name..

First trailer for George Romero's latest, which so far, is simply called "...Of The Dead." Synopsis:

On a small island off North America's coast, the dead rise to menace the living. Yet...the islanders can't bring themselves to exterminate their loved ones, despite the growing danger from those the once held dear. A rebel among them hunts down all the zombies he can find, only to be banished from the island for assassinating his neighbors and friends. On the mainland, bent on revenge, he encounters a small band of survivors in search of an oasis on which to build a new life. Barely surviving an attack from a mass of ravenous flesh-eaters. They commandeer a zombie-infested ferry and sail to the island. There, to their horror, they discover that the locals have chained the dead inside their homes, pretending to live 'normal' lives...with bloody consequences. What ensues is a desperate struggle for survival and the answer to a question never posed in Romero's Dead films: Can the living ever live in peace with the dead?

ugh

Diary of the Dead was borderline unwatchable. I love zombie movies, but George has just lost it

The film that George Lucas wishes he had never made?! Awesome :D I remember watching it none stop as a kid, with almost all the jokes flying over my head. I liked it as it had a big muppet like Duck and I loved the Muppets. I watched it the other day and I was pretty surprised at how adult the whole movie is. More surprised that my Nana used to let me watch as much as I did - ah bless that woman.

So, what's on the Special Edition? Removed all the mild swearing? Replaced the guns with walkie talkies? Howard the Duck is now CGI?

Tron Sequal? Wtf...

Disney has picked a relative unknown to play the lead role in "Tron," its $150 million sequel to the 1982 cult classic by the same name.

Garrett Hedlund, who has until now acted in larger ensemble pieces such as "Friday Night Lights" and "Eragon," will play a man pulled into the world of a computer. He retraces the steps of a character from the original movie named Kevin Flynn.

Titanic's alternate ending -

Oh my fucking GOD!

If I had been Bill Paxton's character and spent three years of my life, untold amounts of money, and God only knows how many man hours by a crew of specialists and some old bitch had thrown not only a priceless jewel but the focus of my life's work overboard after giving me some halfassed speech about the evils of materialism (while having it on her the entire time and never telling me), the last thing I would have done was laugh. I would have pitched her wrinkled old ass overboard and told her that she could have either gotten it back or swim for shore on her own.

I would have thrown something at the screen if that had been the ending Cameron had gone with.

Titanic's alternate ending -

oh my god...that was awful

After watching that, I'm glad I have never watched the movie. I worked at a theater when the movie first came out, and after seeing how crazy people went for it, I refused to watch it, and to this day, have held true to that.

I watched Heckler. It's way more entertaining than you think a Jamie Kennedy vanity documentary would be although perhaps not in the way he intended. His pouting over critics not liking his movies is unintentionally amusing and his attempts to confront them backfire in semi-hilarious fashion (One he eventually resorts to asking if they go Comic Con all of the time and another he asks if they've ever gotten a really good blow job as if getting good head is a sign of genius). Plus it's got one of thethe most eclectic list of interviewees assembled for a documentary (Mike Ditka! George Lucas! Arsenio Hall! Carrot Top! Jon Lovitz! Henry Winkler! The Dice Man! Rob Zombie! Male strippers!)

Oh and there's a scene where him and Deep Roy get sloshed in a jacuzzi. Not particularly well made documentary but wildly entertaining.

No, it sucks. Only worthwhile thing is Billy Zane playing a prick in the movie.

Hey now, the breasts were nice when pushed up in that corset. But yeah, that movie was 2 hours of padding to the boat sinking. I tried hard to enjoy it but my god, what a load of shite. I didn't buy the romance between those two in the fucking least.

Billy Zane was awesome though. Stealing a kid to escape in a life raft, that is a huge dick move and honestly one of the smartest moves in the film.

Trailer for THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT remake. Doesn't look too awful.

A bit too slick, but I'm crossing my fingers that it does justice to the original.

The bit with the microwave is pretty sweet though.

Why is Police Academy on Country Music TV?

Reminds me of a local horror movie host, who showed Rambo 3 one week, he said to us in TV land: "Why am I showing Rambo 3 on a show for Horror movies? We have this thing called ratings..."
