NoCalMike Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 It looks like it could be decent. Of course most movies-turned-series end up sucking, but from the commercials it looks like it is worth giving a chance.
The Buzz Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I loved all three movies, hope the series is half as good. If it is should be worth watching every week.
razazteca Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Will it last longer than the other orginal Spike tv shows that followed TNA?
Black Lushus Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I've never even heard about this...probably because I don't watch Spike much anymore...what are the details? EDIT: nevermind, looked it up...holy hell, Sticky Fingaz plays Blade??? I am so fucking there!
pochorenella Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I've been interested on this series ever since they did an interview on Wizard magazine with the rapper that's playing Blade. I liked all three movies a lot (Trinity not that much) so I'm willing to give this a chance.
2GOLD Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 It looks like it has a lot of potential so yeah, I'll be watching. Can't believe it has taken this long for SPIKE to debut it though, that is a little worrisome.
NoCalMike Posted May 19, 2006 Author Report Posted May 19, 2006 EDIT: Nevermind June 28th... http://www.superherohype.com/news/bladenews.php?id=4214
Gert T Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I can't believe Omar Epps did not get the role as Blade. I heard he and Wesley Snipes look a lot alike.
Downhome Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 This is the first that I've ever heard of it also. I'll check it out the first two times I guess, then go from there.
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Sticky Fingaz is Blade, that's all I needed to hear. I read an interview in either The Source or XXL last month with him, and it sounds like the show will be pretty good.
Black Lushus Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 What the hell is a Sticky Fingaz? he's from the rap group Onyx, Dama...his real name is Kirk Jones.
Damaramu Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Do they have any top songs that I might've heard?
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 Slam! (duh duh duh, duh duh duh - Let the boys be boys!) Slam! (duh duh duh, duh duh duh - Make noise b-boys!) Slam! (duh duh duh, duh duh duh - Let the boys be boys!) Slam! (duh duh duh, duh duh duh - Make noise b-boys!)
Sideburnious Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 Please, like Wesley Snipes had something better to do outside shooting a Kung-Fu B-movie.
SuperJerk Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I can't believe Omar Epps did not get the role as Blade. I heard he and Wesley Snipes look a lot alike. You heard wrong.
randomguy Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Sticky Fingaz is Kern Little from The Shield. I will definitely give this a chance. I'm a sucker for this type of show and the previews don't look too bad.
Black Lushus Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I can't believe Omar Epps did not get the role as Blade. I heard he and Wesley Snipes look a lot alike. You heard wrong. I'm certain that was a sarcastic jab at the Major League movies...Wesley Snipes and then Omar Epps played Willie "Mays" Hayes...
starvenger Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I don't know if this will help make people feel better, but Geoff "Infinite Crisis" Johns is listed as one of the writers...
