Guest NYankees Report post Posted August 23, 2006 Eric Stoltz did about half the movie before he was fired. They said he was too serious in his approach as Marty. They rehired their original choice in Fox and restarted the whole movie.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2006 Stoltz is about as bland an actor as you can get.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 Well, it's over. Quite frankly, I didn't care for this finale but a season with a depressed and/or vengeful Ari should be gold. I was half expecting Bob to croak, leaving the rights of the Ramones movie in question.
mike546 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 I fucking loved the finale. The whole Ari dilema with him trying to get the Ramones script back, then the ensuing meetings Vince and co. had with other agents had me laughing so hard.
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 The rumor on a an entourage related blog is: Vince doesn't officially drop Ari, instead he will be trying to keep Vince from going to a rival agent played by Carla Gugino Louie delivered tonight as usual, especially in the outro with the Cosby impression. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 I'm sure it's already been mentioned in the Emmy thread (forgive for not wading through it), but congrats to Jeremy Piven for winning a well WELL deserved Emmy for his role as Ari.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 I see a rift developing between Vince and Drama when the Ed Burns show takes off and Drama signs with Ari. Decent season but easily the worst out of the three so far. The meaningless Dom storyline, E and his threesome that went nowhere and silly-ass episodes about sneaker fanatics are a waste of the talent this show brings to the table. Drama was the MVP of season three, no doubt.
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 Drama's already signed with Ari
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 Is he actually signed or is more of an off-the-books thing that Ari does as a favour for Vince?
Narcoleptic Jumper 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 If that's the way Deadwood goes out, with Al scrubbing a bloodstain saying "wants me to tell him something pretty" then well, I can live with that. brilliant finale.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Remember, it's not entirely done. We've still go the two, two-hour movies that are being filmed as we speak and will be put out in 2007. Johnny Burns stepped way the fuck up in that episode. Awesome stuff all around.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Is he actually signed or is more of an off-the-books thing that Ari does as a favour for Vince? I believe Drama signed with Ari during that meeting he had with Turtle and Ari shruged and basically said "Fuck it, I'll sign you". Now, if Ari actually went ahead and signed the papers, I don't know. I still stand that they will do a arc with Drama getting fame again and that conflicts Vince but Drama does something stupid and blows it...
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Drama was the best byfar this season, espically the Vegas episode...
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Reason #345 why Deadwood kicks your favourite shows ass- Midgets who can wield a blade.
In Credible 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 Wow, Deadwood is getting really instense. So Hearst left to get out of the way of the bloodshed to come? Charlie Utter was the shit when he confronted Hearst.
Guest DRH 502 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 Damnit! I just caught up on my season 2 thru the second disc (just recently started watching Entourage)...I love this motherfucking show. The show definately wouldn't be the same without Ari... Lets hug it out bitch.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 Wow, Deadwood is getting really instense. So Hearst left to get out of the way of the bloodshed to come? Charlie Utter was the shit when he confronted Hearst. I think the show is following the historical timeline of when the real-life Hearst left camp. But it's very possible that he knew/knows what's going down and doesn't want to be around for it. In season two Hearst says flat-out that he hates being in places where things are already decided for him so it would make sense that he doesn't want to be in a place that he can't change, or doesn't want to bother to change. Guest NYankees Report post Posted September 1, 2006 Great news for Entourage fans. Kevin Federline was signed to do 3 episodes for season 4.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2006 How is that great news? Great news would be saying that Chuck Liddell is doing an episode of Entourage in season four.
Angelus 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2006 Bah it will be funny, he's playing a lazy husband of a celebrity starlett
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2006 Great news for Entourage fans. Kevin Federline was signed to do 3 episodes for season 4. At least it has a potential to not be a trainwreck as he will be on CSI. Additionally, the rumors say three but some are saying one episode. Though I think I'd rather have a Vince/Paris romance arc than have this no talent assbag on my screen.
Guest DRH 502 Report post Posted September 2, 2006 Curry, that would be FUCKING TREMENDOUS news. Why hasn't the Entourage crew been to Vegas for a UFC fight yet?The episode would practically write itself... (well not really)
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Entourage is Chuck's favourite show. He probably just called up HBO and said "Put me on or me and the SLO crew will show up at your offices." HBO wisely gave the man what he wanted.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Turtle was watching TUF in an episode this season, correct? Too late for this now, but TMN in Canada had a Season 2 marathon earlier today and is in the middle of a Season 3 one right now.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Vince and E smoking up with Saigon and Paul Haggis has to be one of the more surreal Entourage moments in terms of mixing up celebs. If/when the Chuck episode happens something needs to go down in the vein of Drama mentioning that he did some kickboxing here and there, leading to Chuck putting him down like Old Yellar.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 I could see Turtle and Drama getting threatened in some silly fashion, so they run into Chuck and start training with him, obviously designed for laughs with Chuck and Drama interactions. Of course, it ends with Drama accidently kicking someone's ass and he plays it off like he knew what he was doing.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Even though it's not supposed to be a scripted show in terms of celeb interactions Chuck had better rehearse the fuck out of his lines. I can't not see him stuttering his way through the scenes if they tell Chuck to "be himself."
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2006 in a boneheaded move on HBO's part, the first episode of the new season of The Wire is available for viewing on Cox Cable's HBO OnDemand...however, I haven't watched it yet as I am currently working my way through Season 3. I watched the first few minutes of it before clicking it off. They may have fixed this by now, though, so don't yell at me if you don't see it on there. Season 4 officially starts 9/10.
