TheFranchise Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 What's the deal here, we never get any mention (as far as I know) of Daivari fueding with the Undertaker (through his clients) but so far, he's used Hassan, Mark Henry and now Khali to go after him. Has there ever been any storyline as to why he in particular is managing them?
Downhome Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Ummm... Since Taker killed Hassan, Daivari is out for revenge?
sluggo Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 hmmm let's see... Daivari was with Hassan when he jumped to Smackdown and was entered in the title picture. Hassan cost Taker a shot at the title...Taker then killed Hassan... Perhaps he's still trying to get revenge for Hassan
luke-o Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Like WWE would remember an angle they did LAST YEAR.

Just John Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Davari is the last resort for the wrestlers who get no reaction at all? Or wrestlers who don't get the reaction WWE wants (i.e. Kurt Angle). They really should go through with my "no one wants to be managed by Daivari" idea after Khali dies at the GAB.
TheFranchise Posted July 5, 2006 Author Report Posted July 5, 2006 That would be pretty cool. Someone nobody cares about (Pitbulls) gets asigned to Daivari by Teddy Long, only for them to refuse and quit. Yeah, but him with Orton.
Placebo Effect Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 If I remember correctly, UPN never wants Hassan to be on TV again. That's why he was taken off and subsequently fired in the first place.
foleyfanforever88 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Great. Orton/Taker fued coming. Orton is on RAW..
RepoMan Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 You know with the jump to Friday, SD is one the on year aniversery of the London Bombings. If WWE dosn't do anything completly tastless, I'll be very disapointed.
spman Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I'm telling you man, it's been a year, the heat has died down, I'm sure WWE could convince UPN to allow them to bring back Hassan. Have a storyline where Daivari uses mystical powers from Allah to bring him back to life.
Guest Fook Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Zombie Hassan would be perfect in the new ECW as the next appeasement to the Sci-Fi network.
Guest Timmer Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Hassan wasn't fired, he asked for his release because he really wasn't dedicated to wrestling long term. He refused to report to OVW when the whole UPN/terrorist angle went down.
RepoMan Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Does anyone know if Daivari's a decent worker, b/c I'd just love to see him take over were Hassan left off (minus the terrorists).
Guest Princess Leena Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I watched some match of him online a year or so ago. He looked good to me. It's a shame he's probably stuck with this stupid racist "EVIL IRAQI" character forever. He's so yummy, and supposedly a good worker.
Maztinho Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Plus the best way they could have gotten him away from his "Terrorist" gimmick would be to hit the Magic Carpet Ride frogsplash with a carpet on someone. Mark out city baby!!!
Guest Overworked Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Whats sad about the whole Hassan thing, was that his character was actually very well done at least in the beginning. His whole bio was basically an Arab American feeling ridicule and contempt by other americans for being of arab descent. It had nothing to do with terrorism or anything, just more along the lines of the after affects of how things happena fter 9/11. His character's traits was an intelligent social commentary on the paranola of some who view all arab speaking (and non arabs, persians, sikhs, Turks, afgans, pakistans etc etc) as potential terrorists in their neighborhood. It was a bad move for them to have Hassan go into terror sympathy mode, keeping him as an Intelligent Heel wrestler who's whole basis of being a heel is a byproduct on some americans paranola would have been cool.
Guest Princess Leena Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I really doubt that was the plan with Hassan at any point, though. WWE knows their fanbase isn't the brightest, and would boo any Muslim-looking types. They just Hassan a whiny bitch at the start so people would hate him more.
Guest bigjon44202 Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Gert T wow you are right i never really look as daivari like that very good point you got there

I was so waiting for the line that never came (in response to the USA chants): "I am an American .... dumbasses" I think the character was too intelligent for WWE writers so they had to dumb it up to their level.
