Annoyed that

lethal goes for JJ's title, leading to JJ going over him

it does make the most sense.

And it will be great to see Bentley/Kazarian back together, but i wish they had a tag team name. Thats what AJ/Daniels need.

For some reason, I'm really excited about seeing Kazarian and Bentley team again. Almost like the NAO when they first formed, they were two guys weren't over at all as singles who clicked as a team. Even after not being impressed with Kazarian's match with Senshi at the PPV, I'm looking forward to this match tonight. Any word on if they'll have Traci with them, or are they saving her for Bobby Roode's big solo push?

The monthly post-PPV Jarrett-approaches-the-announce-table-yelling bits are annoying. At least this one was short, though.

TNA comedy > Raw. Nash and Shelley going over fancam video from Madagasgar is by far the funniest wrestling skit done this week "2 sided ring" and "flying them in business class" were great lines.

Alright, the Bobby Roode promo definitely did not work for me, considering we've seen Roode, as, well quite the bitch for the past few years. Seems far from main event talent to be talking like he was there.

Although I guess he has no choice since there are only 2 'divisions'.But, one the closeup his voice was right, he had the angry voice going on, but his face was completely monotone.

edit- Wow. that's how you start a match. I love how they made a point of Lethal being on top of the action with him getting out and to the floor right after Jarrett both times. It was definitely a great start to a match.

Well, it was time for Roode to start rebuilding himself as a main event type guy, so I liked it. If only TNA had a TV or NA title...

I say that TNA should try to get the NWA North American championship signed up for them. But I don't know how feasible that would be.

That IMO, was a great match.

Especially at the length of time it was. For one, it defintely made Lethal look Strong. Two, with Steiner's help, and the tactics he used during the match it made Jarrett look like a great heel. Even the aftermatch ending worked.

For a Jarrett match, and what I figured would sort of be a 'squash' (although I still thought Letahl would get some offense) it was great.

It's pretty sad that TNA gets one page on the show. I don't normally have cable, but being on vacation we had it, so I watched Raw, ECW, and Impact, and Impact is by far the best wrestling so far. The Naturals match was a little blah, but the angle is getting across well enough, everything else was solid, and Jay Lethal looked really strong against Jarret, if he hasn't had an X shot lately he needs to get one soon, preferably at the PPV and see what he can do with it, he really impressed me. I think he could do a good underdog face run, and possibly you see Runt turn heel based on that look he had after Team 3D left(presumably for some Japan time) and let them go for a while, you have AJ and Daniels/LAX and Sting/Jarrett. Now you just see if you can do something with Roode, Young, and maybe Sabin(not necessarily together) and you have a nice little PPV card. I'm also curious as to what will come of Nash and Shelley's thing this week. Perhaps Sabin goes under a mask as one of the Madagascar wrestlers?

I had fears that it was going to be like the title defenses that Jarrett had on FSN.

IIRC, the only title match they ever aired on FSN was against Monty, which was a pretty good match. Jarrett's other matches during the era were treated as total squashes, and didn't even get the "can the kid do it" treatment from Tenay. Mostly during those matches, Tenay just talked about Jarrett's angle for the next PPV.

Only thing I was kinda meh about was Lethal talking about "going for it all" as in the World Title is more important. Maybe it is in our minds, but it shouldn't be said on tv. I dunno how Lethal could've said anything that would make both belts seem equal at the same time going after the world title though. Maybe like, the X title is just as prestigious, but I'd rather grab some gold AND take out the cancer as well.

Jarrett fought Hector Garza for the WHC after Turning Point and it turned out to be a really good match that totally built Garza up...

And then he went and got himself arrested and lost his visa. Oh well...

I'm loving TNA these days. I laugh at Nash, the tag division is pretty strong, Senshi is fun to watch as X champ, and the ME scene is stacked. Jarrett is working pretty damned hard to me lately (What a fuckin dropkick/top rope Stroke). I really like the underlying Sting/Xian stuff and Joe is flat out phenominal. It's hard for me to get my hopes up with TNA apparently STILL not making any money, but damn, a guy can dream.

I can't believe I forgot about that. That was one of my favorite heavyweight matches they ever aired on FSN. Garza was in the middle of a big push, having won matches on the past 2 PPVs.

I thought this was a well-booked, nicely paced and structured hour of wrestling entertainment. Everything was crisp and to the point. TNA did a good job of balancing all the storylines, and putting appropriate focus on each based on their importance.

It was the best wrestling program I've seen from any promotion in months.

I particularly loved the start of the program between Samoa Joe and Rhino. It's not your typical heel vs. face program, and it's not even about the belts. It's just two monsters who love a good scrap wanting to pound the tar out of one another and prove who's best. Although it's probably not anybody's dream match, looking at the way they have been booked, it probably became one, the second Joe came out with the mic. (BTW, I was surprised with how smooth and natural Samoa Joe is on the microphone.) Actually, this match seems more of a natural fit than Joe vs. Scott Steiner.

I enjoyed Styles' and Daniels' challenge to the other TNA tag teams. Styles looked like he was broken in half by Homicide's (?) Vertebraker move. Konnan's quip about being all over them like "a monkey on a cupcake" was hilarious, because it was such a bizarre analogy.
