Ultra Violence 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2006 I can't stand drunk people when I'm sober. Me neither. Who does? I don't drink (and oddly enough I never have) but i'm by no means straight edge. I usually enjoy going out with my friends when they're drunk, Generally I just have a few Red Bulls and enjoy the hilarity. There is a club we go to where they give you a free shot with every drink purchased so I tend to feed them random Tequilas and Jagers etc.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2006 Hey, next week's ECW show is at Hammerstein Ballroom right? I wonder if they're just doing the Sabu/Show thing to appease the Hammerstein crowd. The main event is going to be Gang Bang +1 vs Cena/Flair/Angle

pochorenella 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2006 It seems no one has mentioned this week's ratings. The show got a strong 2.4, with the overrun doing a 3.0 (source: PWInsider.)

Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Batista vs Big Show? Yeah run-in galores and no one will be put over clean here. Could it be the first ECW DQ in the ballroom?
Guest nokia Report post Posted July 28, 2006 watch the crowd shit all over this match.. Big Show can't loose if he's to remain strong and for Batista to loose so early in his comeback is crazy... Look for Sabu is all I can say....
benn 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 When is RVD's suspension up? He could run in with the Ballroom being the place where he won the WWE title.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 When is RVD's suspension up? He could run in with the Ballroom being the place where he won the WWE title. I think his 30 days are up. Its been over 4 weeks since Big Show has had the title. Week 1: I don't think Big Show defended against anyone, could be wrong, i know Big Show did something on the show. Week 2: Defended against Ric Flair Week 3: Defended against Undertaker Week 4: Defended against Kane. This should be week 5 of Big Show having the title. So RVD's 30 day would be over by Tuesday. Something random: Each week it looks like Big Show is alternating between Raw and Smackdown superstars.
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Report post Posted July 28, 2006 RVD's suspension is up on Thursday, August 3rd. He can't make next week's show in the Ballroom, but he'll most likely return the following week, on August 8th. Besides, WWE won't have Angle and RVD return on the same (1 hour) show. UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Well, the match where Big Show defeated RVD happened on July 4, so technically it's just shy of 30 days.
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Well, the match where Big Show defeated RVD happened on July 4, so technically it's just shy of 30 days. 30 days from July 4th is August 3rd. They could bring him back early like they did with Orton, but I really don't think they will, with having Angle returning too, with only 1 hour of live TV. Remember, we're dealing with WWE logic here. Umm, it's a run-in, not an advertised appearance. They don't need to "make time" for RVD if they want to bring him back next week for Show, if they're building Show v. RVD. Sabu for Summerslam.
Guest LuckyLopez Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Yeah, if you brought RVD back in Hammerstein the thing to do would probably just be a show ending appearance. Say Show/Batista finishes up. Lights go out, Sabu's in the ring and attacks. Show eventually gets the better of him when the lights go out again. Lights back up and RVD's in the ring. The two of them get the best of Show and drive him from the ring to end the show. RVD could be on TV for all of the last 30 seconds of the show and still make splash. Then you have his official reinstatement and return to hype for next week. Doing Punk's debut, Angle's return, and RVD's return all on the same night would certainly be overkill, but it all depends on whether WWE might consider Hammerstein a special show. Which they might considering the stand alone taping and that it is the home of One Night Stand.

Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Vince will probably have every match end in a DQ next week to piss off the real ECW crowd. I'd love to see this happen just for the crowd reaction alone because it could get pretty wild. I'll definitely have my VCR at the ready. Wonder if the Sci-Fi people will like the fact that they will probably get some lewd chants b/c I don't think the Hammerstein crowd is going to listen to Joey Styles if he comes on and tells them to be tame. Wrestlefreak 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Looking forward to CM Punk's debut and Angle's return. I know the rest of the show is gonna suck next week though. This week sucked as usual(it was good to see Kane back).
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Does this mean Batista won't be at Smackdown next week? Or is it a Monday Supershow? Cause if Batista isn't at SD, they may as well have King Booker do a Gauntlet Match where he disposes of all the peasants.
