so everyone's leaning towards Umaga getting the win here? hmmmm alrighty...this is still HHH here, you know...DX version or The Game version, it is still HHH.

Though Frogg's got a point. HHH could do the job and if Umaga ever does become a MEer or even WWE champ, HHH can cash in his job and have a great case for it.

It will probably be a sportz entertainment finish where Shane lays everyone out, or something equally ridiculous.

I still don't understand why people are so high on Umaga. He's Vince's shitty, shitty answer to Samoa Joe with the worst finisher in the company.

Vito's submission thing under his dress says "hello".

I figure HHH loses tonight although it will be just like last week, lots of interference and stuff.

It might be a bad finisher, but it's the most realistic finisher in wrestling. Try taken your thumb and poking it to your throat as hard as you can and see if your not out of breath within 5 seconds. BTW, Petey Williams CD is the most un-realistic finisher in wrestling because there's no way he could pull that move off if the other wrestler doesn't jump.

The sooner they cut the strings on Umaga, the better. It's a decades old midcard gimmick stuck on a passable at best wrestler. The only thing he has going for him is an overrated, one-line manager who's one bad crowd away from debuting 'Wooza-Wuzza' as his new catchphrase.

I'm all for trying new ideas and looking for new stars, but how is Jamal doing a Headshrinker redux with Slick as his manager new?

I'm sorry, but Umaga really is the best new character they've brought up in a while. Really, they're going to dig deeper into Umaga's story... just remember last week when AAE was knocked out, and Umaga didn't know what to do? This is building to something big... it's gonna be HUGE.

Umaga's an uneducated savage from the deepest, darkest jungles of Samoa who sees AAE as his 'master'.

Cookie cutter booking.

I think we'll gradually find out about Umaga and AAE's true friendship. They care for one another. And their partnership will grow and grow into WWE Big Gold.

Wait...Someone said Jamal is worse then Rosey? Are you daft? Jamal is a FAR superior wrestler then Rosey is. Only reason Jamal didn't originally work in WWE was because he stiffed the unholy bejesus out of everyone. For whatever reason, they don't seem to mind it now, since he's STILL stiffing the unholy bejesus out of everyone.

Umaga's something...At first, it was a joke. Then they did something smart and allowed him to murder jobbers for awhile. Some of those squashes were absolutely horriffic to watch, as Jamal just unleashed fuckin hell on them. Then he moved up to midcard, and squashed anyone he touched, giving him more credibility. Now he has enough credibility and stature to realistically fight the main stars, which shows how well they've done his push.

Umaga's not going to set the world on fire, but it's there. He's also changed up how he hits the Samoan Spike, so it's almost a "Can hit anywhere" type move. He's hit it standing, he's lifted the opponent up, and last week he used a RUNNING variation.

If Hunter makes Umaga look like shit, then this'll stall...but last week against Shawn, Umaga didn't look horrible. He was losing granted, but when it came down to it he beat Shawn fairly clean when he caught him with that running Samoan Spike. If Cena re-wins the title, they'll need Umaga for a program. So, since Hunter seems to be all about doing the "right thing" when he needs to lose, hopefully he does the same tonight.

Not this time around... it's really going to lead to something.

Exactly. He worked stiff on a few nobodies, so what?

Rosey has more upside than Jamal. Rosey carried off the goofy gimmick and he got pretty over with it. In 3MW Jamal was the noiser of the two, that's the sole reason he stood out. A few grunts and yells, that's pretty much what the Headshrinker gimmick entails. Put Jamal in the S.H.I.T shoes and everyone would see that he's pure S.H.I.T.

Plus Rosey does a moonsault. Touché my friend.

Here is my gripe with Umaga: AAE has just HIM as his guy? I mean come on, you compare Armando to Slick but Slick had a stable of jobber guys about like Umaga with a tag team or two to boot. Umaga can't be THE guy. He has to be one of a few scrub heels.

Umaga is like if Slick managed the Warlord and nobody else.

Also on Raw, Women's Champion Mickie James will give her former idol, Trish Stratus, an opportunity at the Championship. Last week on Raw, Stratus was able to get the pinfall on James in a tag team match. Will the six-time Women's Champion be able to claim the gold for the seventh time?

Rosey is no where neaaaaaaaar the worker Jamal is, and as KOAB said, it's the AJPW work that shows us this. Jamal went over, and did damn well, impressing the fans right off the bat with his work. Rosey's been over there since he was released, and hasn't impressed anything. Jamal hits very hard, is very agile, and very strong. There's a reason WWE brought him back, as Johnny Ace still has a few connections in Japan. They saw his work and brought him back. Jamal was the most over gaijin Puroresu has had in YEARS. Let that statement sink in, because it's kind of a hard one to understand. Jamal was the most over Gaijin since Stan fucking Hansen and Vader pretty much retired.

Jamal pulled off S.H.I.T. because of Helms helping him, without Helms, that's an even worse gimmick and goes nowhere. Not that it went anywhere to begin with. Even with Helms, who at the time was a face heat magnet, Rosey never got fucking over, while Jamal is starting to be seen as one of the biggest heels in the WWE.

Hawk, it's all a matter of the WWE style and the Japanese style. Rosey is a better "Sports Entertainment" type wrestler than Jamal, and Jamal got over in Japan because they could care less how sloppy or stiff he is. Whereas in WWE Jamal is just a mediocre heel with a 1980s gimmick.

And I still insist that Armando add some heels and form a real stable.

Why does every damn Samoan have to have their character based around it?

Vince has really missed the boat. He needs to have a Jew play an evil heelish Jew bastard.

Yea I agree. I like Umaga but mostly because of AAE. People can say it is crap and all but RAW is basically crap this summer like last summer so I have to have something to look forward to. I thought that segment last week where AAE got knocked out and Umaga stumbled around going crazy was hilarious.

Also, I hope the women's match is good because last week's tag match was pretty awesome for a women's match. I dunno who booked it but they should've gotten a raise. I mean you had freakin' Candice Michelle working the ARM.

All we'll get tonight is 45 minutes of McMahon-DX, 10 minutes of Cena-Edge (if we're lucky), 15 minutes for the damn Diva Search either with segments spliced through the night or when they come out to kill the crowd, 10-15 minutes of Orton-Lawler which will show Lawler as a shell of a shell of a shell of his former self, and then MAYBE a good Shelton-Nitro-Carlito-whatever match. Yep, looks like a winner to me.
