End of Year Awards

Recommended Posts

I'll start doing this fairly soon with a view to getting voting going around Genesis time - start thinking about who and what you might want to nominate for all the awards.

No, I'm not going to post a list of all the categories now. If you search on here you should find last year's, and if not... you'll have to wait.

He's perfectly entitled to. And don't forget he won a couple of those categories last year.

What about adding a category for a promo series? Either a group that help enhance an angle, or just a stand-alone series that are teh good.

lolz.

That might be just a ploy for my "After Hours on the SWF message board" promos, as well as my "Doomtopian History" thing, though I bet the aborted Clan promos, or Toxx's "Oh noes, Kibs, but wait, it's Not Kibs!" promos would destroy minez0rz, lollerz.

Hmm, that's a possibility. I'll look into it, seeing as how I've hijacked these awards due to no-one else wanting to do them, and therefore now have sole control over EVERYTHING, down to and including taking bribes.

If any of you would be sad enough to bribe someone on the basis of awards for a fictional wrestling federation, bribe away.

Dude, I don't know. I've got a few gimme's here. I mean, The Axis for faction of the year. Man, those days were the shit. What about my monumental 48 day Cruiserweight Title reign with zero technical defenses? Man, I should have an award named after me for that accomplishment. How about my incredible tag team with Akira, and the eventual go-no-where break up that rocked the world of E-WRESTLING for eternity?!

Give it up, I'm taking home at least 3 awards this year.

Hey, you've got an argument for tag team of the year. You've got fuck all competition (or, more realistically, you're no worse than the competition). As for Stable of the Year, it's between you guys and Cucaracha Internacional.

Spyon

Two Skinny White Guys

Flesh and Graps

Asia Underground

The New Doomtopians

Landon and Maxx King

Off the top of my head, those are the ones I know. The bottom five have held the tag titles.

EDIT:

Staunton and Rageheart?

Not sure, they're sort of forgettable because I don't even really remember them.

Staunton (JJ) and Rageheart (Dace) appeared for like... two or three matches before each character got (presumably) axed.

Don't forget TKO. We had the longest reign I believe, even if we did fuck all with the belts because I was busy putting J3 over in singles matches.

That'd be why they're forgettable, then.

As for Spike. How's that 10K head start goin' for ya? (that's a joke, for the record, I don't intend that comment to turn into a flame war).

Huh?

TLC match. Apparently you wrote some 10k match...only to lose in a last minute ditch effort 7k-athon writing spree by me and Akira.

Fuck, I suck at references.

EDIT: And now Akira informs me Zyon wrote that match. Negate these posts.

Now that I think about it...

It was just Zyon vs Cross. And then Spike and I ran with the fruits of their labors.

High five, Spike. High motherfucking five.

We'll name an award after Cross for forgetting what matches he and everyone else was in, maybe.

Not sure where I forgot who was in the match. It was a triple threat TLC match, the problem was that I remember Spike posting in the word count thread that they were turning in something that was 10k long. I kind of got on the horse and wrote 7k.
