LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 I agree the women's match was a lot better than I thought it would be. Melina isn't that bad.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2005 Simon Dean continues to bring the awesome. On internet Velocity this week, he has his opponent in a front chancery (sp?) on the mat, then adds some knees to the head. Then, after hitting the curb stomp, he covers his opponent by doing push-ups on his opponent's chest as the ref makes the count. I know it's a cheesy cartoon gimmick, but the guy's making it work like a champ.

Silence 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 So he's ripping off Scott Steiner now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Simon Dean's been doing the "push-ups" spot since last year. However, if he starts to talk about his "freaks" and doing 10-15 belly-to-belly suplexes in his matches, then he'll really be ripping off Scott Steiner. Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 So he's ripping off Scott Steiner now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Simon Dean's been doing the "push-ups" spot since last year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This time he did it w/ his hands on his opponent's chest while the ref was making a count. All previous times he was just doing push-ups on the mat while trash talking.

And at the end of the match he busted out a Macho Neck Snap.

haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 The Empire in the UK has a story where the Rock talks about his probably new movie "Daddy's Girl". They quoted him as saying, "It's great. Basically I’m a star quarterback on an NFL team, very brash and cocky, but not in the way of Tyrell Owens in the States but in the way of a Brett Favre who is so respected and everybody loves, but who has been single all of his life. His life gets turned upside down when his little daughter comes into his life, who’s six years old.” Somehow, I have a problem believing that Rock didn't know Terrell Owens' name! ... Thanks to PB and Jaffer Hussain for sending that along. Credit: Dave Scherer, PWInsider.com I very much doubt The Rock typed and printed his own story in the UK paper/magazine. Seriously, it was cooler when saturn busted it out and even cooler when Julia from Tekken 3 did it properly, landing the opponent directly on his head, like a driver, not a slam. Oh, and both Riegns and Bill Demott have used Carlito's finisher. It's a rolling inverted neckbreaker (cutter) and they called it "roll the dice." I think it's on his bio on WWE.com. Nice to see yet another new wrestler whose finisher is a neckbreaker of some sort.

The first person I can recall using that move was Reno in WCW in 2000- then it was called 'Roll The Dice', as well as the people you've mentioned, Test also used it from 02/03- he called it the 'Testdrive'...
